Camera cabling sold separately:
- Special Note.. most installers prefer to supply their own cabling. This can be purchased in a box/roll or as a quality aftermarket premade length. We suggest always considering cat6 as the cable is usually thicker and has a higher bandwidth.
- Don't be fooled: Other manufactures include premade flimsy Cat5e cables with their CCTV kits, these are inferior! To save cost they provide only a 4 core cable (cat5e/6 is 8 core) to go with their cheap low cost cameras. Their desire to save every possible cent from production leads to high returns, and are not compatible if you wish to upgrade later. If you are going to climb a ladder, spend hours in a hot roof the last thing you want is for the cable to fail and have to do it all again. Seriously, consider the cables and invest in a good installation. When you're at the pub and you get an alert, the last thing you want is for the camera not to display on your phone. Dodgy cables make up over 80% of our inquiries, do it once, and do it right!
