The DS-KH6350-WTE1W is the 7" touchscreen you mount on the wall inside — it’s the brains of the system. The doorbell button itself is the door station, and it’s sold separately. Plenty of options are listed further down.

Does this include a door station?
No — this listing is for the indoor station only. Pair it with a Hikvision IP door station (e.g. DS-KV6113-WPE1 or DS-KD8003) and a PoE switch to form a complete system.
Which Hikvision door stations are compatible?
The full Hikvision IP range, including the DS-KD8003-IME1(B), DS-KD8103-E6, DS-KV6113-WPE1(C), DS-KV6124-WBE1, DS-KV8113-WME1 / DS-KV8413 series and the DS-KD9633-WBE6 face-recognition flagship. Any compatible Hikvision IP camera can also be viewed live from the monitor.
How many door stations and monitors can one system run?
Each DS-KH6350-WTE1W can link up to 17 door stations and 16 indoor extensions. Plenty for multi-storey homes, duplex villas, small apartment blocks and boutique offices — with ring-all or zoned call groups.
Can I record video or take snapshots?
Yes. Insert a microSD card up to 128 GB to store captured snapshots and alarm records. For continuous recording, most installers pair the system with a Hikvision NVR so every ring is archived.
Does it work with electric strikes or magnetic locks?
Yes. The indoor station has two onboard lock relay outputs (30 V DC / 0.3 A) to drive a relay board for electric strikes, mag-locks or gate motors. Most Hikvision door stations also carry their own onboard lock relay if you’d prefer the switching at the door.
Is Hik-Connect really free?
Yes. Hik-Connect (iOS & Android) is free from Hikvision — no subscription, no monthly fees. A Hik-Connect account is required for remote access; terms are set by Hikvision.
Is this genuine Hikvision with Australian warranty?
Absolutely. We only stock 100% genuine Hikvision, supplied through authorised Australian distribution and shipped nationwide by Infront Technology. Full Australian manufacturer warranty applies and local technical support is just a call away.
Can I install it myself, or do I need an electrician?
The unit itself is low-voltage: plug-in 12 V DC or PoE — a confident DIYer with data-cabling experience can usually install a single indoor + door station. Concealed Cat-6 cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and should be run by an ACMA-registered cabler; any 240 V gate controller, dedicated lock PSU or mag-lock circuit must be installed by a licensed electrician or Hikvision-trained security integrator.

Installation & safety notice
Low-voltage product (SELV). The DS-KH6350-WTE1W is powered by PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or a 12 V DC plug-in adapter — there is no 240 V wiring inside the unit and no mains work is required on the device itself. Mounting is a screwdriver-and-bracket job.
When a licensed tradesperson is required. Concealed Cat-6 cabling between the door station, PoE switch and indoor station is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be installed by an ACMA-registered cabler. Adding a new GPO, installing a dedicated lock PSU, or integrating a 240 V gate controller / mag-lock / electric strike circuit is the licensed electrician’s or security installer’s job. A standard plug-in 12 V DC adapter in an existing GPO is fine to use as-is.
