The VSIPSLR-B41 is a 4MP solar 4G bullet with a 64 Wh LiFePO4 battery, AI and PIR motion alerts, and a siren and white LED to deter intruders. The VSIPSLR-3P3F pairs a 3MP overview camera with a 6× hybrid-zoom PTZ that auto tracks people, powered by a 65 Wh lithium battery and 8 W solar panel.

Both use Always-on-Video power saving to keep recording to microSD while using very little power, then raise the frame rate when someone is detected. Add a data SIM from your mobile provider.

Do solar cameras need internet?

They need 4G mobile coverage and a data SIM, not NBN or Wi-Fi. Check the site has a usable signal from your provider before installing.

Will they keep working through winter?

The battery and power-saving modes are designed to carry the camera through cloudy days. Mount the panel facing north with no shade for the best charge, especially in southern states.
