This Infrared Illuminator is compatible with any security cameras that use Infrared light to be able to see at night. Traditionally cameras only have the infrared light provided by the few LED's on the front of the camera to help it see at night. This infrared illuminator act's like an Infrared floodlight and floods the area with a large amount of infrared light that is invisible to the human eye but the cameras will be able to use the extra light to make a huge improvement to the quality of the night vision already available.

This VSIR28W60D IP66 rated with tempered glass panel and aluminum die-casting housing, suitable for indoor or outdoor use. This light is designed to give a narrow and precise beam over a very long range 170M distance and is well suited to areas such as long driveways or lighting up sheds, outbuildings or machinery away from the main building.

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATION --> VOLTAGE DROP - Depending on the distance you intend placing this product away from the power supply you will need to take into consideration Voltage Drop.

Consider this example - 12Volts @ 2.33AMPs(28W) using a 1mm² cable at cable length of 20Mtrs is a 19.75% (2.37V) Voltage Drop, giving you approx 10.5Volts at the device.. This is very important as the device will not function to its fullest ability. The quality and thickness of the cable is critical to minimize the loss of voltage/power from the device. It is also important to try to minimize the cable run distance, keeping this run below 15mtrs using good quality 1mm² or greater cable will allow this IR Lamp to function close to 100%
