The AK-FOB-F08 is an Akuvox 13.56 MHz MIFARE 1K key fob for presenting access credentials at compatible door readers — a simple add-on for residents and staff who prefer a fob over a card.

Does it include a reader?
No. It is a credential accessory only.
Will it work on HID Prox readers?
No — use AK-CARD-HIDPROX / iCLASS SKUs for 125 kHz HID technologies.

Installation & safety notice
Low-voltage product (SELV). The AK-FOB-F08 is a passive RFID credential (SELV accessory) with no mains connection — it is presented to a separately powered reader.
When a licensed tradesperson is required. Concealed structured data / intercom cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be performed by an ACMA-registered cabler. Any electric lock, maglock or dedicated lock PSU is a separate electrical/security install and may require a licensed electrician or security installer.
