Do I still need an indoor monitor?

Installation & safety notice

Low-voltage product (SELV). The AK-E12W-BLACK is a SELV door station powered by IEEE 802.3af PoE or a plug-in 12 VDC supply — no mains work is required on the device itself, and there is no 240 V wiring inside the unit.

When a licensed tradesperson is required. Concealed structured data / intercom cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be performed by an ACMA-registered cabler. Any electric lock, maglock or dedicated lock PSU is a separate electrical/security install and may require a licensed electrician or security installer.
