The AK-S535-LTE-KIT combines Akuvox’s modular S535 door phone with the LTE expansion unit. Same 5-inch Linux station, dual 2 MP cameras and multi-credential unlock — plus cellular backhaul for retrofit entries where a new data run is not practical.

This listing is a door-phone kit, not a mount or accessory.

You receive the S535 outdoor station with the LTE module attached (assembled height 260 mm). An indoor monitor, electric lock, PoE switch and the matching S535 wall box are sold separately.

Modular S535, specified for LTE.

Akuvox designed S535 so the door station stays the same and the bottom module changes the job: LTE, fingerprint, induction loop or QR scanner. This SKU is the LTE combination, as published on the S535 with LTE Expansion Unit datasheet.

A 5-inch IPS panel (720 × 1280) shows directory, call and PIN tiles. Dual 2 MP cameras with HDR and auto lighting cover a 116° horizontal field of view.

Face match is specified at under 200 ms with 99.7% accuracy on the datasheet, with 20,000 face templates on the station.

Credentials

More than one way in.

Alongside face, the station reads 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz cards (including MIFARE, DESFire EV2/EV3 and FeliCa) plus PIN, BLE and QR.

One relay, two inputs, Wiegand and RS485 cover typical lock and third-party access controllers. ONVIF lets an NVR take the camera stream.

LTE module

Cellular when Ethernet stops short of the gate.

The LTE expansion unit is part of this kit. Datasheet bands: LTE-FDD B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B13/B18 and LTE-TDD B38/B39/B40/B41. Confirm the band plan for your carrier before you rely on it.

Assembled size with the module is 260 × 100 × 27 mm. Use the S535 expansion wall box, not the standard 210 mm box.

From visitor to unlock.

Mount the expanded station

Fit the matching S535 expansion wall box. The LTE kit is 50 mm taller than the standard S535.

Power and SIP

Feed 802.3at PoE or 12 V DC, then register the station to your Akuvox indoor monitors or SIP PBX.

Enrol credentials

Load faces, cards and PINs from the web portal or auto-provisioning. Capacity is on the attached datasheet.

Confirm LTE if you need it

Insert the carrier SIM as documented and test call quality on-site before handing over.

Common questions

Is this just the LTE module?

No. AK-S535-LTE-KIT is the S535 door phone with the LTE expansion unit. The module-only SKU is a different listing.

Does it include an indoor monitor?

No. Pair with a compatible Akuvox indoor station. The door phone will also register to many SIP PBXs — confirm codecs on the datasheet.

What power does it need?

IEEE 802.3at PoE or 12 V DC / 3 A. It is not 802.3af-class.

Will it survive outdoor weather?

The station is IP66 and IK08. Still use the correct wall box and rain cover for the elevation and finish you specified.

Low-voltage product (SELV). Power from IEEE 802.3at PoE or a 12 V DC / 3 A SELV supply as stated on the Akuvox S535 with LTE Expansion Unit datasheet. Confirm PoE budget before sharing a switch with cameras.

When a licensed tradesperson is required. Concealed structured data / intercom cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be performed by an ACMA-registered cabler. Any electric lock, maglock or dedicated lock PSU is a separate electrical/security install and may require a licensed electrician or security installer.
