Adopt the camera in SADP or from your PoE NVR, set a long admin passphrase, disable default accounts, and enable HTTPS + time sync. For AcuSense, start with a human+vehicle filter on your highest-traffic line-cross, then add intrusion/region after a week of tuning so you do not flood the app with false positives. Record on the NVR; use microSD only for edge/ANR with an endurance card.

FAQ — will it work on my NVR? If the NVR is ONVIF and supports H.265, usually yes for video. Deep Hikvision events (full AcuSense filter payload) are happiest on a Hikvision AcuSense channel plan or on iVMS-4200 test bench before you deploy site-wide. Third-party VMS may see standard motion before AI metadata — plan accordingly.
