ColorVu 3.0. Colour that doesn’t quit at dusk.

An F1.0 aperture over a 1/1.8" sensor, paired with Hikvision’s HikAI-ISP processing, holds full colour down to 0.0005 lux. As light fades further, the Smart Hybrid Light blends IR and white LEDs across three modes — discreet monitoring or overt, well-lit deterrence out to 40 m.

Every frame is 3200 × 1800 (6 MP) with H.265+ compression, and 130 dB scene-adaptive WDR keeps both the bright and shadowed parts of a frame legible.

Hikvision’s full-colour night vision. A large sensor and bright F1.0 lens keep colour in near-darkness instead of switching to black-and-white.

Smart Hybrid Light

Two lights in one camera: invisible infrared (IR) for discreet night vision, and white LEDs for full colour and visible deterrence. It blends or switches automatically.

HikAI-ISP

An on-board AI image processor that reduces noise and sharpens detail in low light for a cleaner picture.

AcuSense

On-camera AI that tells people and vehicles apart from harmless movement (rain, trees, animals) — so you get fewer false alerts.

WDR

Wide Dynamic Range — balances very bright and very dark areas in the same shot (e.g. a dim doorway against daylight) so neither is lost. 130 dB is high-end.

DORI

An industry distance rating: Detect, Observe, Recognise, Identify. Bigger metres mean useful detail further away.

IP67

Frequently asked questions

2.8 mm or 4 mm — which should I choose?

Both are 6 MP. This 2.8 mm gives a wider 108.8° view for open areas and frontages; the 4 mm version is narrower (93.3°) with longer reach — better for entrances, driveways and corridors.

Does it need a special switch?

It runs on standard PoE (IEEE 802.3at, Class 4) or 12 VDC. When strobe, white light and IR peak together, size the PoE budget to the datasheet rather than assuming the minimum.

Can it record without an NVR?

Yes — a microSD card up to 512 GB gives edge recording, with ANR to backfill clips after a dropout. For multi-camera sites a Hikvision NVR is still recommended.

Is the two-way audio and strobe legal to use?

They’re powerful deterrents — configure them in line with local privacy, signage and night-noise rules. Talk to us if you need help setting compliant schedules.

Installation & safety notice

Low-voltage product (SELV). The DS-2CD2067G3-LI2UY/SL is a 12 VDC / IEEE 802.3at PoE IP camera — no mains wiring inside the device. It can be powered from a PoE switch/NVR or a plug-in 12 V adapter in an existing GPO; no electrician is required to power the unit.

When a licensed tradesperson is required. Concealed structured data cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be performed by an ACMA-registered cabler. New GPOs, switchboard or mains work is the job of a licensed electrician under AS/NZS 3000.

Active strobe and audio deterrence must be configured in line with local privacy, signage and night-noise rules. By ordering you confirm the product suits your intended use and that any concealed cabling or third-party integration will be done by an appropriately licensed tradesperson.
