The AK-R20K-BLACK is Akuvox’s R20K in black aluminium: 2 MP camera, numeric keypad, card reader and two relays in a palm-size IP65 plate. Typical for apartments and offices where visitors dial a room number rather than using a directory screen.

This SKU is the door station only.

You receive the black R20K (standard, not the LTE R20K-L). Indoor monitors, in-wall kit, rain hood, PoE and lock hardware are sold separately. The silver R20K is a different listing.

Keypad

Room number, PIN, or card.

Numeric keypad with extra buttons (concierge, clear, bell). Unlock paths on the datasheet are EM / Mifare card and PIN. Capacity 4,000 users and 20,000 cards.

There is no LCD on R20K. If the brief wants a directory screen, look at R28A or S535 instead.

Is this a modular screen phone?

No. R20K is a compact keypad door station with a camera. It does not have an LCD directory.

Silver instead of black?

The silver R20K is a different listing. This SKU is AK-R20K-BLACK.

LTE version?

R20K-L / R20K-BLACK-L are different part numbers. This listing is the standard (non-LTE) black R20K.

PoE class?

IEEE 802.3af.

Order R20K black through Infront Technologies when the brief is a small SIP station with a physical keypad — not a 4.3-inch R28A and not a modular screen phone.

Installation & safety notice

Low-voltage product (SELV). Power from IEEE 802.3af PoE as stated on the Akuvox R20K datasheet. Treat as SELV low-voltage equipment.

When a licensed tradesperson is required. Concealed structured data / intercom cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be performed by an ACMA-registered cabler. Any electric lock, maglock or dedicated lock PSU is a separate electrical/security install and may require a licensed electrician or security installer.
