The AK-X912K is the physical-keypad version of Akuvox’s X912 door phone. A 4-inch square touchscreen, two 2 MP cameras and a 13.56 MHz / 125 kHz card reader sit above a tactile numeric keypad in a 233.5 × 94 mm aluminium panel.

This SKU is the X912K door station only.

You receive the X912K main unit with its wiring accessories. Choose an X912 on-wall bracket or in-wall kit, and a rain cover for exposed entrances — sold separately, as are indoor monitors, PoE switch and lock hardware.

A physical keypad suits gates, gloved hands and users who prefer to feel each press. Residents can skip it entirely and enter by face, card, Bluetooth or QR code.

The reader handles 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz EM, MIFARE and DESFire EV1 / EV2 / EV3 cards. Bluetooth 5.0 enables hands-free entry from the SmartPlus app.

Build

Two relays, three inputs, IP65.

Two relays and three inputs control a door and a gate with exit buttons and door sensors, plus Wiegand in/out and RS485 for access control panels.

The aluminium panel is rated IP65 and IK08 and works from −20 °C to +60 °C. Mount it on the wall surface or flush with the X912 in-wall kit.

What is the difference between the X912K and X912S?

The X912K has an aluminium panel with a physical keypad and IK08 rating. The X912S has a 316 stainless steel panel with a flush touch keypad and IK10 rating.

Is a mounting bracket included?

No. Choose the X912 on-wall bracket or in-wall installation kit, sold separately.

What power does it need?

IEEE 802.3at PoE or a 12 V DC supply.

Does it have facial recognition?

Yes. Two 2 MP cameras recognise faces in under 200 ms, with up to 20,000 face templates stored.

Installation & safety notice

Low-voltage product (SELV). Power from IEEE 802.3at PoE or a 12 V DC supply as stated on the Akuvox X912K datasheet. A 12 V / 1 A output is available for a lock or reader.

When a licensed tradesperson is required. Concealed data and intercom cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be installed by an ACMA-registered cabler. Electric locks, maglocks and lock power supplies may require a licensed electrician or security installer.
