The AK-R20A-ONWALL is Akuvox’s R20A in silver aluminium alloy: one backlit call button, a 2 MP camera and a dual-frequency card reader in a 145 × 85 mm plate. It fits door frames and gate posts where most door stations won’t.

This SKU is the surface-mount door station only.

You receive the silver R20A surface-mount door phone. Indoor monitor, in-wall kit, rain hood, PoE switch and lock hardware are sold separately.

Fits a door frame.

145 × 85 × 24 mm, silver aluminium alloy, IP65 rated, −30 °C to +60 °C, with a tamper alarm.

Surface-mounts as supplied. Use the R20A / R25A in-wall kit for flush, and a rain hood on exposed doors.

2 MP 1/2.8″ camera, 110° (H) / 58° (V), H.264 up to 1920 × 1080 at 30 fps, with IR LEDs and a light sensor for night calls.

Two-way audio with echo cancellation and noise suppression, G.722 wideband. ONVIF and RTSP let you record the door on your NVR.

Access

Card, NFC or app.

The 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz reader takes EM, MIFARE and DESFire EV1 / EV2 / EV3 credentials, plus NFC from Android phones. Up to 20,000 cards and 4,000 users.

Two relays drive two doors or a door and a gate. Two inputs, Wiegand in/out and RS485 connect exit buttons, door sensors and controllers.

Surface-mount as supplied, or flush with the R20A / R25A in-wall kit. Add a rain hood where exposed.

PoE and SIP

Run 802.3af PoE to the RJ45 and register to an Akuvox indoor monitor, SmartPlus or your SIP PBX.

Enrol cards

Add residents and their cards in the web portal: up to 20,000 cards.

Test the door

Press the button, check the picture day and night, and confirm each relay releases the right lock.

How is the silver R20A different from the black R20A?

Only the finish. Camera, reader, relays and housing are the same; pick matching silver mounting accessories.

How does R20A compare with R25A?

Same 145 × 85 mm single-button format. R25A has a 4 MP fisheye camera covering 150° × 150°; R20A has a 2 MP camera covering 110° × 58°.

What power does it need?

IEEE 802.3af PoE from a switch or injector.

Can it be flush-mounted?

Yes, with the silver R20A / R25A in-wall installation kit, sold separately.

Is an indoor monitor included?

No. Pair it with a compatible Akuvox indoor monitor, the SmartPlus app or any SIP endpoint.

Installation & safety notice

Low-voltage product (SELV). Power from IEEE 802.3af PoE as stated on the Akuvox R20A datasheet. Treat as SELV low-voltage equipment.
