The AK-X915S is Akuvox’s 8-inch Android facial recognition door station in a 316-grade stainless steel panel. A 5 MP starlight camera, a 2 MP auxiliary camera, dual speakers and microphones, three relays and a dual-frequency card reader are built for condominiums, office buildings and gated communities.

This SKU is the X915S door station only.

You receive the X915S main unit with its wiring accessories. Choose the X915 on-wall or in-wall installation kit, and a rain hood or angle kit as needed — sold separately, as are indoor monitors, PoE switch and lock hardware.

Residents walk in by face or Bluetooth; staff use a card, NFC phone or PIN; visitors call from the 8-inch directory or scan a QR code. The SmartPlus app adds remote unlock and time-limited virtual keys.

The 5 MP starlight main camera with HDR covers 120° (H) / 64° (V) and streams 1080p at 30 fps. Akuvox quotes face recognition in under 200 ms at 99.7% accuracy.

Up to 20,000 users, 20,000 face templates, 100,000 cards and 20,000 PINs are stored on the station. IR and white-light LEDs support night use down to 0.1 lux.

316 stainless, IK10, IP66.

The front panel is 316-grade stainless steel, rated IK10 for impact and IP66 for dust and water. Working temperature runs from −40 °C to +60 °C.

Flush-mount or surface-mount with the X915 installation kits; add a rain hood or the on-wall angle kit to suit the entrance.

Access

Three relays, open platform.

Three relays and three inputs drive doors, gates and exit buttons, with Wiegand and RS485 for access control panels. The reader handles 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz EM, MIFARE and DESFire EV1 / EV2 / EV3 cards plus NFC.

Android lets integrators install third-party apps or customise the interface, while auto-provisioning and the web portal simplify large rollouts.

No. Use the X915 on-wall or in-wall installation kit, sold separately. Rain hoods and an on-wall angle kit are also available.

What power does it need?

How tough is it?

The 316 stainless steel panel is rated IK10 for impact and IP66 for dust and water, and works from −40 °C to +60 °C.

Does this version include palm-vein or HID readers?

No. The X915S has face, EM / MIFARE / DESFire card, NFC, PIN, BLE and QR entry. Ask us about other X915 versions.
