The AK-X915S is Akuvox’s flagship Android door station: 316-grade stainless, 8-inch IPS, dual cameras with starlight on the main sensor, and vandal ratings IP66 / IK10. Residents unlock with face, card, PIN, BLE or QR; visitors call over SIP.

This SKU is the door station only.

You receive the X915S outdoor / entry Android phone. Indoor monitors, the X915 on-wall or in-wall box, rain hood and electric lock are sold separately.

Eight inches of Android at the door.

800 × 1280 IPS, customisable home tiles (PIN, Call, Contacts, Reception on the factory UI). Android means third-party or integrator UI work is possible — confirm with your programmer.

Two microphones and two speakers, SIP v1/v2, G.711 and G.722, echo cancellation.

Cameras

Starlight main sensor plus an auxiliary camera.

5 MP starlight main + 2 MP auxiliary, HDR, 120° × 64°, 1080p / 30 fps H.264, IR and white-light LEDs. Face match < 200 ms, 99.7% accuracy, 20,000 templates.

ONVIF so an NVR can record the landing without a second camera.

316 stainless, IK10, three lock relays.

Is this the HID iClass or Prox version?

No. AK-X915S is the standard 13.56 MHz + 125 kHz reader. HID-specific X915S variants are different part numbers.

Indoor monitor included?

No. Pair with a compatible Akuvox indoor station.

PoE class?

IEEE 802.3at (PoE+), or 24 V DC / 2.5 A. Not 802.3af.

Palm-vein X915P?

X915P is a different model. This listing is X915S only.

Installation & safety notice

Low-voltage product (SELV). Power from IEEE 802.3at PoE or a 24 V DC / 2.5 A SELV supply as stated on the Akuvox X915S datasheet. Confirm PoE budget; this is not 802.3af-class.

When a licensed tradesperson is required. Concealed structured data / intercom cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be performed by an ACMA-registered cabler. Any electric lock, maglock or dedicated lock PSU is a separate electrical/security install and may require a licensed electrician or security installer.
