Answers
Common questions
Does the X910 have facial recognition?
No. It is a single-button door phone with card, NFC, BLE, QR and app entry. For face entry, look at the Akuvox R29C or S538.
What power does it need?
IEEE 802.3at (PoE+), or a 12 V DC 2 A / 24 V DC 1 A adapter. If you use its power output for a lock or reader, Akuvox calls for 12 V DC 3 A or 24 V DC 1.5 A.
Is a mounting bracket included?
Yes. The wall bracket, drilling template, anchors and screws are in the box, plus machine screws for fixing over a single-gang wall box.
Will it read 125 kHz proximity cards?
No. The reader is 13.56 MHz only — MIFARE, DESFire EV1 / EV2 / EV3 and FeliCa — plus NFC on Android phones.
What is package detection?
The 2 MP auxiliary camera watches the doorstep, and the X910 alerts your indoor monitor or SmartPlus app when a parcel is left there.
How many users and cards does it hold?
Up to 20,000 users and 100,000 cards, with access tables exported and imported through the web portal.
Will it record to my NVR?
Yes. The X910 supports ONVIF and RTSP, so ONVIF-capable NVRs can add the 5 MP camera as a channel.
What mounting height does Akuvox show?
The X910 drawings place the camera centre at 1,500 mm and the bottom of the panel at 1,250 mm above ground.
A neat entry point for homes and small sites.
Choose the X910 for houses, townhouses and small offices that want 5 MP video, parcel alerts and phone-based entry in a slim panel.
Installation & safety notice
Low-voltage product (SELV). Power from IEEE 802.3at PoE, or a 12 V DC 2 A / 24 V DC 1 A adapter. When the power output is used, Akuvox calls for 12 V DC 3 A or 24 V DC 1.5 A.
When a licensed tradesperson is required. Concealed data and intercom cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be installed by an ACMA-registered cabler. Electric locks, maglocks and lock power supplies may require a licensed electrician or security installer.
