How do I pick the right mounting kit?
Match the kit part number to the door phone or indoor monitor family (R20, S53x, E-series, etc.). Using the wrong box usually means a poor flush finish.
Do I need a rain hood?
Exposed outdoor stations almost always need the matching hood or canopy. Protected porches may only need the surface or flush box.
Are cards universal?
Use credentials that match the reader frequency (commonly 13.56 MHz and/or 125 kHz). Check the reader or door phone specification.
