The AK-EC33 is Akuvox’s EC33: an IP lift controller in a lockable metal cabinet. It wires to the lift’s floor buttons and decides which floors each resident or visitor may select — from a card in the car, or a command sent from an Akuvox door phone or indoor monitor.

This SKU is the lift controller only.

You receive the EC33 in its metal cabinet. The in-car card reader, expansion controller and lift interface wiring are sold or arranged separately.

Secure floors without a guard in the lobby.

Residents tap a card and only their floor and common areas can be pressed. When a visitor is let in at the door, the Akuvox system can send the lift a command for the right floor.

Outputs

32 floors, expandable to 128.

Each of the 32 relay outputs enables one floor button. An Akuvox expansion controller on the RS485 port takes the system to 128 outputs.

Wiegand 26 / 34 connects the card reader in the lift car. It stores 20,000 cards and 100,000 log entries.

A resident presents a card to the reader in the car and only their permitted floors become available.

Akuvox door phones and indoor monitors talk to the EC33 with HTTP commands, so letting in a visitor can also send the lift to the right floor. Akuvox Cloud is supported.

Safety

A fire alarm input built in.

The fire alarm input can trigger emergency release or normal lift commands, so the lift behaves as required during an alarm.

Power from 100–240 V AC or IEEE 802.3af PoE, rated 10 W or less. The 320 × 270 × 75 mm cabinet locks with a key.

Wire the lift

The lift contractor connects each relay to a floor button circuit; wire the in-car Wiegand reader.

Assign floors to cards and link door phones and indoor monitors in the web portal or Akuvox Cloud.

Test

Present cards, test calls from the door, and confirm the fire alarm input behaviour.

Installation & safety notice

Mains-powered equipment. The EC33 (when not powered by PoE) takes 100–240 V AC directly, so the mains connection must be made by a licensed electrician. Concealed data cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be installed by an ACMA-registered cabler. Electric locks and lock power supplies may require a licensed electrician or security installer. Connections to the lift’s controls should be made by the lift contractor.
