4K detail, simple to fit.
An 8MP turret on one cable.
This is the Uniview IPC3618LE-ADF28K-GM. An 8MP 4K turret camera for homes and small businesses. The 2.8 mm lens covers 113° across and infrared reaches 30 m, and person-only alerts keep notifications to the ones that matter.
In one sentence: the IPC3618LE-ADF28K-GM is an 8MP (3840 × 2160) turret with a 2.8 mm F1.6 lens, 112.9° view, 30 m smart IR, people detection, a built-in mic and IP67, powered by PoE.
One camera, one Cat6 cable.
Video and power share a single Cat6 run from a PoE recorder or switch. Mounts and a memory card are optional.
- IPC3618LE-ADF28K-GM camera
- Fixing screws and drill template
- Quick guide
- A PoE NVR or switch (802.3af), or a 12 V DC supply
- Cat6 cable to the camera
- A microSD card up to 256GB, to record on the camera
- TR-JB03-G-IN junction box or TR-WM03-D-IN wall mount, if needed
Four times the detail of 1080p.
3840 × 2160 pixels across a 112.9° view means one camera can cover a whole yard or carport and you can still zoom into the recording for a face or a number plate near the camera. The metal turret body has no dome to reflect IR, so night images stay clear.

Size
Ø110.5 × 94.1 mm, 0.425 kg.
The Uniview drawing shows the camera from the front and side, and the base with its fixing holes. Mark the holes with the drill template in the box.
How it goes in
From the box to recording.
01
Pick the spot
High enough to be out of easy reach, close enough to see faces, with a route for one Cat6 cable. Under an eave keeps sun and rain off the lens.
02
Fix the base
Screw the base to the ceiling, eave or wall, or onto a TR-JB03-G-IN junction box so the cable joint is enclosed.
03
Plug it in
Run Cat6 to a PoE port on the NVR or a PoE switch. The camera powers up from the cable.
04
Aim and add
Turn the eyeball to frame the view, then add it to the NVR or the Uniview app.

Common questions
What resolution and frame rate does it record?
8MP 4K (3840 × 2160) at up to 20 fps. If smoother motion matters more than detail, set 5MP, 4MP or 1080p at 30 fps.
What sets off an alert?
Draw a line or a zone and it alerts only when a person crosses or enters it, which filters out most alerts from trees, passing cars and pets. Plain motion, tampering and loud-sound detection are there too.
Does it record sound?
Yes. It has a built-in microphone, so recordings include audio. Check the privacy rules in your state before recording conversations.
Is 4K worth it over 6MP?
More pixels means you can zoom further into a recording before faces and plates blur. The trade-off is larger files; Ultra 265 compression keeps that in check.
How far does it see at night?
Up to 30 m in black and white with infrared. Smart IR turns the IR down on close objects so faces are not washed out white. In dim light before the IR is needed it stays in colour down to 0.005 lux.
How wide does it see?
The 2.8 mm lens covers 112.9° across, 59.1° high. Uniview rates it to identify a person at 8.4 m and recognise someone known at 16.8 m, with detection out to 84 m.
Which mount do I need?
It screws straight to a ceiling or eave. Add the TR-JB03-G-IN junction box where there is no cavity behind to hide the cable joint, or use the TR-WM03-D-IN wall mount to hold it out from a wall. The TR-JB07/WM03-G-IN combines a wall mount with a junction box.
Can it go outside?
Yes. It is rated IP67 against dust and water, and works from −30 °C to 60 °C. Mount it under an eave where you can, to keep rain and direct sun off the lens.
Will it work with my recorder?
Uniview NVRs find it on their PoE ports and add it automatically, with the smart events. Other recorders that support ONVIF (Profile S, G or T) can add it too, although the smart events may only come through on a Uniview NVR.
Can I watch it on my phone?
Yes. Watch it through a Uniview NVR in the Uniview mobile app, or add the camera to the app on its own. Live view in a web browser works without a plug-in in current Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
How is it powered?
By PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over the same Cat6 cable as the video, from a PoE NVR or switch. Without PoE it runs on a 12 V DC supply. It draws 4.5 W at most.
What is the warranty?
Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.
Supported by Infront Technologies.

Installation and safety
Power. Use an 802.3af PoE port or a regulated 12 V DC supply. The camera draws 4.5 W at most.
Weather. Rated IP67. Seal the cable joint, ideally inside a junction box, and point cable entries downwards.
