IVSEC IP audio FAQ
What is a SIP speaker used for?
SIP speakers connect to an IP network or PBX for live paging, scheduled announcements, intercom talkback and emergency broadcast. IVSEC models include a microphone so staff can hear as well as speak in two-way scenarios.
Do IVSEC SIP speakers need separate audio amplifiers?
No. Each IVNS speaker is a networked endpoint with its own amplifier — power and audio signalling travel over Ethernet via PoE (horn also supports PoE+ / 24 VDC). That keeps installs simple alongside IP cameras and switches.
Which IV-IPAUDIO kit should I choose?
Pick by site type: IV-IPAUDIO-C for cafés/restaurants (ceiling speakers), IV-IPAUDIO-G for grocery multi-zone stores, IV-IPAUDIO-S for schools (wall speakers + PBX), and IV-IPAUDIO-W for warehouses (black wall speakers). Standalone horns and speakers are available when you only need to expand an existing system.
IP audio that fits the same network as your cameras. IVSEC SIP speakers and site kits ship with Australian stock and a 3-year warranty — InFront Technologies welcomes installers and trade.
