Which R29 is the R29S?
Akuvox builds the R29 in several versions. The R29S is the standard version with one 2 MP camera and card, PIN and QR entry. The R29C adds a second camera for facial recognition and Bluetooth, and the R29C-L adds LTE. Choose the R29S when a touch directory and cards are all the entrance needs.

Interface
A directory visitors can search.
The 7-inch capacitive touchscreen (800 × 1280) shows a searchable resident list with options for visitors, deliveries and PIN entry.
Android lets integrators add third-party apps or customise the screens for the building.
Included
On-wall box in the box.
The R29 on-wall surface box screws to a flat wall and the R29S clips into it, so there is no cavity to cut in brick, render or cladding.
Add the R29 on-wall rain hood where rain or direct sun hits the entrance.

Access
Cards, PINs, QR codes and phones.
The dual-frequency reader takes EM, MIFARE, DESFire EV1 / EV2 / EV3 and FeliCa cards and Android phones via NFC. Residents can also enter a PIN, and visitors can scan a QR code.
It stores 20,000 users, 100,000 cards and 20,000 PINs, with three relays for a door, a gate and a third lock.
