The AK-R20B3BONWALL is Akuvox’s R20BX3: the compact R20 door station with three speed-dial buttons and name plates, in silver aluminium. Visitors press the right name, the right resident answers — simple for guests, tidy for the building.

This SKU is the surface-mount door station only.

You receive the silver R20B 3-button surface-mount door phone. Indoor monitors, rain hood, PoE switch and lock hardware are sold separately.

Call buttons

Three names, three direct lines.

Each of the 3 buttons has its own name plate and is set to a SIP number, Akuvox indoor monitor or SmartPlus account in the web portal.

No directory to scroll and no codes to remember — ideal where visitors are couriers and guests.

Compact

Fits where bigger panels can’t.

185 × 84.5 × 24 mm aluminium, IP65 against rain and dust, −30 °C to +60 °C, with a tamper alarm.

2 MP 1/2.8″ camera, 110° (H) / 58° (V), 1080p at 30 fps, with automatic IR night lighting and a 0.1 lux minimum. ONVIF and RTSP for NVR recording.

Access

Card, NFC or app for residents.

The 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz reader takes EM, MIFARE and DESFire EV1 / EV2 / EV3 cards, plus NFC from Android phones. Up to 25,000 cards and 5,000 users.

Two relays drive two doors or a door and a gate. Two inputs, Wiegand in/out and RS485 connect exit buttons, door sensors and controllers.

How it works

04

Test the door

Call each button, check the picture day and night, and confirm the relays release the right locks.

Akuvox SmartPlus

Residents answer calls and open the door from the SmartPlus app on iOS or Android, and can view extra IP cameras beside the door feed.

Answers

Common questions

How does this differ from the other R20B models?

Only the number of call buttons. The 2-, 4- and 5-button R20B models share the same camera, reader, relays and 185 × 84.5 × 24 mm housing.

Does the R20B have a keypad for PIN entry?

No. Residents use cards, NFC or the SmartPlus app. For PIN entry choose the R20K keypad model.

Can each button ring a different apartment?

Yes. Each button is programmed to its own SIP number, Akuvox indoor monitor or SmartPlus account.

Which cards does the reader take?

125 kHz EM and 13.56 MHz MIFARE and DESFire EV1 / EV2 / EV3 cards, up to 25,000 of them, plus NFC from Android phones.

What power does it need?

IEEE 802.3af PoE from a switch or injector.

Can it be flush-mounted?

Yes. This SKU ships for surface mounting; the R20K / R25K / R20B in-wall kit recesses it, and matching rain hoods cover both install types.

Is an indoor monitor included?

No. Add one compatible Akuvox indoor monitor, SmartPlus account or SIP endpoint per tenancy.

The right button count.

Pick the R20B that matches the tenancies: this 3-button model, or the 2-, 4- and 5-button versions in the same housing. Need more flats? Step up to the R20K keypad.
