Akuvox A095S metal box houses the A095S access controller on the wall behind a lockable hinged door. The controller clips onto the rail inside, and the box comes with a wall-mounting template plus the three screws and anchors that hold it to the wall.

The AK-A095S-BOX is the Akuvox metal enclosure for the A095S access controller. It fixes to the wall with three screws, the controller sits on the rail inside, and a keyed door closes over the wiring.

Enclosure only.

You get the metal box, its wall-mounting template and fixings. The A095S controller, readers, locks and power supply are separate items.

Wiring out of reach.

Door controllers carry the lock, reader and exit-button wiring for every door. Behind a locked metal door, those terminals are out of reach of anyone without the key.

Inside

Rail-mounted controller.

The A095S mounts on the rail inside the box, with room around it for the door, reader and lock wiring.

The hinged door closes over everything and locks with a key on the side of the box.

Fixing

Three screws to the wall.

The back of the box has three fixing points that match the supplied wall-mounting template.

Drill 6 mm holes 25 mm deep, fit the anchors flush with the wall and screw the box on with the three ST4×20 screws.

How it works

Up on the wall in three steps.

Mark and drill

Stick the template on the wall and drill the marked holes 6 mm wide and 25 mm deep.

Fix the box

Push in the three plastic wall anchors so they don't stand proud, then screw the box on with three ST4×20 screws, firm and flush against the wall.

03

Fit and lock

Mount the A095S on the rail inside, wire it up, check it works, then lock the outer cover.

Which controller does it fit?

The Akuvox A095S access controller, which mounts on the rail inside the box.

Does it lock?

Yes. The outer cover is a hinged door with a key lock on the side of the box.

How is it fixed to the wall?

Stick the supplied template on the wall, drill three holes 6 mm wide and 25 mm deep, insert the plastic wall anchors and screw the box on with the three ST4×20 screws.
