The AK-X915INWALLK is Akuvox’s in-wall installation kit for the X915 series: a flush-mounting box that takes the 350 × 130 mm X915S, plus the screws and anchors to fix it.

Everything to flush-mount one X915S.

You receive the flush-mounting box and fixings below. The X915S door phone, which includes its own wiring cover, terminal blocks and Torx screws, is sold separately.

A recessed panel, wiring out of sight.

Flush-mounting sets the X915S into the wall so only the stainless steel front shows — the usual choice for new builds and masonry or rendered entry walls.

In the wall

Cut, fix, mount.

Cut a 337 × 122 × 41 mm opening, break out the round cable entries you need and press the box in so its edges sit tight against the wall. Fix it with the four ST4 × 20 screws and anchors in 6 mm holes.

If the box doesn’t sit tight to the wall, Akuvox recommends filling the gap with cement or a non-corrosive adhesive and letting it set before mounting the station.

The X915S comes without a mounting box. Choose this in-wall kit for a recessed finish, or the X915 on-wall kit, thick on-wall box or angle on-wall kit to surface-mount.

On an exposed entry, add the X915 in-wall rain cover.
