The AK-X915ONWALLBT is the box Akuvox lists as “On-Wall Mounting Box – Thick” for the X915 series. It does the job of the standard on-wall box for the 350 × 130 mm X915S, with deeper sides.

Surface mount

Same mounting, deeper sides.

Fix the box to the wall, bring the cables in through the square opening low in the back, and hang the X915S on it as you would on the standard on-wall box.

The deeper sides stand the station further off the wall than the standard box does.

Akuvox makes four mounts for the X915S: this thick on-wall box, the standard on-wall kit, the angle on-wall kit and the in-wall kit for a flush finish.
