The S535 ships without a box: this slim black plate screws to the wall, the S535 hangs on its two hooks and is locked in with a Torx screw. The AK-S535ONWALLK is Akuvox’s standard wall-mounting box for the S535. It is sized to the 210 mm-tall S535 on its own; an S535 with an expansion module underneath needs the longer module box.

This SKU is the standard on-wall box.

Fifteen millimetres off the wall.

The box is a 15 mm-deep plate, so a surface-mounted S535 stays slim. Cables come through the centre opening from behind.

A slim plate with two hooks.

Black metal plate with two square hooks at the top and a cable opening in the middle. The S535 hooks on, swings flat and is secured at the bottom with the Torx screw supplied with it.

Four ST4×20 screws with anchors, and two M4×30 screws for fixing over an existing wall box, are included.

Standard vs module

This box is 209.5 mm tall for the 210 × 100 mm S535. With a module fitted underneath, the station is 260 mm tall and needs the 259.2 mm module box (AK-S535ONWALLKEX).

Both boxes are 99.5 mm wide and 15 mm deep; only the length and the position of the bottom fixing point differ.

Does the S535 come with a mounting box?

No. Every S535 needs an on-wall or in-wall box, sold separately.

I am fitting a fingerprint, loop or LTE module. Is this the right box?

No. With a module the S535 is 260 mm tall; use the on-wall box for S535 with modules (AK-S535ONWALLKEX), which is 259.2 mm long.

Can I mount it over an existing wall box?

Yes. Akuvox supplies two M4×30 screws for an 86-type or EU-standard embedded box.

Is the door phone included?

No. This SKU is the mounting box only.

Choose this box for an S535 on its own. If a fingerprint, induction loop or LTE module will be fitted now or later, order the module version so the station and module mount as one. Infront Technologies stocks both in Australia.

Installation & safety notice

Fitting. Hold the box against the wall with the arrow up, mark and drill four 6 mm holes 25 mm deep, and fix it with the ST4×20 screws and anchors. Over an existing 86-type or EU wall box, use two ST4×20 into the wall and the two M4×30 into the box — see the Akuvox S535 quick guide.
