The AK-R29ONWALLK is the Akuvox on-wall installation kit for the R29 series. The R29 quick guide lists the wall-mounting box and its fixings as “in the On-Wall Installation Kit box”.

Everything to surface-mount one R29. The door phone and on-wall rain hood are sold separately.

Where the wall can’t be recessed, the on-wall box mounts the R29 on the surface with the cables fed in from behind.
Fixing options
Over a wall box or straight on the wall.
With an 86 × 86 mm junction box, two M4×30 screws hold the box to it and four ST4×20 screws go into the wall. Without one, six ST4×20 screws and anchors fix it directly.
On exposed entries, fix the R29 on-wall rain hood together with the box using the same six screws.

Fitting the kit.

Over a wall box
Fix the box to an 86 × 86 mm junction box with two M4×30 screws, then add four ST4×20 screws into anchors.

Straight to the wall
Mark the six holes, drill 6 mm, fit the anchors and fix the box with six ST4×20 screws.

Hang the station
Hook the R29 onto the two square hooks at the top of the box and lock it with the two M3×6 screws underneath.

No. Akuvox supplies the wall-mounting box and fixings in this on-wall kit.
Does it suit the R29C-L (LTE)?
Akuvox lists a separate on-wall mounting bracket for the R29C-L, so check with us before ordering for an LTE unit.
Can it go over an existing junction box?
Yes — an 86 × 86 mm box, using the two M4×30 screws plus four ST4×20 screws into the wall.
