Akuvox A095S is a compact 4-door IP access controller with an entry and an exit reader port for every door — eight Wiegand / RS485 ports in all. Eight relays, 12 inputs and eight power outputs run from 12 V DC or a single PoE+ cable, with Wi-Fi 6 and DIN-rail mounting.

The AK-A095S is Akuvox’s A095S: a compact controller that handles four doors with a reader on each side. It runs from PoE+ or 12 V DC, mounts on a wall or DIN rail, and connects over Ethernet or Wi-Fi 6.

This SKU is the controller only.

You receive the A095S controller. Readers, exit buttons, locks, lock power supplies and any enclosure or DIN rail are sold separately.

Track who goes in and who comes out.

With entry and exit readers on all four doors, the A095S can run true anti-passback and accurate occupancy logs. Interlock, first person in and fire-alarm integration are built in, managed from Akuvox Cloud or ACMS.

Readers

An entry and an exit reader per door.

Eight ports accept Wiegand 26, 34 and 58-bit readers or RS485 readers using OSDP v2 — one on each side of four doors.

Eight power outputs, 500 mA maximum each, feed the readers directly, and Akuvox states they still work when the controller runs on PoE+.

Access logic

Anti-passback and interlock built in.

With readers on both sides, anti-passback stops a card being passed back to let a second person through. Multi-door interlock and first-person-in suit labs, plant rooms and shops.

It holds 100,000 users and PINs, 500,000 cards and 200,000 access logs. Its inputs can take a fire alarm signal to release doors.

Install

PoE+, Wi-Fi 6 and DIN rail.

Power it from a single IEEE 802.3at PoE+ cable or 12 V DC 5 A. Two RJ45 ports, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and a TF card slot are built in.

The 208 × 128.5 × 37 mm plastic housing mounts on a wall or a DIN rail inside a comms cabinet.

Mount

Fix the A095S to a wall or clip it to a DIN rail in a secure cabinet.

Wire

Connect PoE+ or 12 V DC, then wire entry and exit readers, relays, exit buttons and door contacts.

Configure

Set doors, schedules, anti-passback and interlock in the web portal, Akuvox Cloud or ACMS.

Commission

Test each reader in both directions, the exit buttons and the door sensors, then check the logs.

How many doors and readers does it support?

Can it run from PoE?

Yes, from a single IEEE 802.3at PoE+ cable, or from a 12 V DC 5 A supply.

Which reader protocols are supported?

How many users and cards does it hold?

100,000 users and 100,000 PINs, 500,000 cards and 200,000 access log entries.

Does it need a network cable?

It has two RJ45 ports, and dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 and 5 GHz) is built in for sites where a data cable is hard to run. LTE is only on the A095S-L version.

Can it go on a DIN rail?

Yes. It mounts on a wall or a DIN rail inside a comms cabinet.

What comes in the box?

The controller, a Wi-Fi antenna and connector, pluggable terminal blocks, a diode, a terminal removal tool and a small flat-head screwdriver.

How is it different from the A094S?

The A095S is a compact PoE+ / 12 V unit with eight reader ports and Wi-Fi 6. The A094S is a steel cabinet with a mains supply, four Wiegand and four RS485 ports.

Choose the A095S when you want entry and exit readers on every door and a single PoE+ cable to the controller. For a mains-powered steel-cabinet controller, see the A094S.

Installation & safety notice

Low-voltage product (SELV). Power from a 12 V DC 5 A supply or IEEE 802.3at PoE+. Treat as SELV low-voltage equipment.

When a licensed tradesperson is required. Concealed data and intercom cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be installed by an ACMA-registered cabler. Electric locks, maglocks and lock power supplies may require a licensed electrician or security installer.
