    DC-quiet breeze.

This is the ThreeSixty Spitfire DC 60" with the 18W dimmable CCT LED light. Three timber-finish polymer blades on a slim DC motor, 152 cm across, with a 6-speed remote. Pick the motor colour and the blade finish to suit the room.

In one sentence: the ThreeSixty Spitfire DC 60" is a 152 cm (60") DC ceiling fan with 3 timber-look polymer blades, a 6-speed remote and reverse mode, plus a 18W dimmable CCT LED light, using 35W on high.

Everything to hang it. The wiring is by your electrician.

The fan arrives ready to assemble with its remote. The blades and remote come in their own blade box. The 18W LED light kit is included.

    In the box
    • Fan motor with hanger bracket and terminal block
    • Ceiling canopy, dress ring and standard downrod
    • 3 polymer blades with screws and base plate (in the blade box)
    • Remote control with pre-paired receiver
    • 18W CCT LED light kit
    • Screw pack and owner’s manual
    You also need
    • A licensed electrician
    • An earthed 240 V circuit with an all-pole isolation switch
    • A joist or batten that holds four times the fan’s weight
    • A longer downrod (90 or 180 cm) for high or raked ceilings, if needed

    Twelve looks from one fan.

Choose a Black, Matte White or Brushed Nickel motor, then Koa, White Wash, Matte White or Light Oak blades. The polymer blades look like timber but will not warp in humid rooms or undercover alfresco areas.

ThreeSixty Spitfire DC 60" with matte white motor and white wash blades

    Coastal and Scandi

    White wash for light rooms.

Matte White motor with White Wash blades for white ceilings and light timber floors. The motor sits close to the ceiling for a clean line.

ThreeSixty Spitfire DC 60" with brushed nickel motor and Koa blades

    Warm timber

    Koa for depth.

The darker Koa blades suit timber kitchens and alfresco ceilings. Pair them with a Brushed Nickel, Black or Matte White motor.

ThreeSixty Spitfire DC 60" dimensions, blade span and ceiling drop

    Dimensions

    Sized for the ceiling.

Blade span 152 cm. About 28 cm from ceiling to the bottom of the motor on the standard downrod, 2 cm more with the light. Sloped ceilings up to 12°.

    How it goes in

From the ceiling to the first breeze.

    01

    Fix the hanger bracket

Screw it into a joist or batten that holds four times the fan’s weight. The terminal block is already on the bracket.

    02

    Assemble and hang

Fit the canopy and downrod, route the wires through, then seat the hanger ball in the bracket with the groove on the tab.

    03

    Wire the receiver

Active, neutral and earth to the terminal block, then plug the receiver into the fan. Isolate the power first — this is electrician’s work.

    04

    Blades, light and remote

Fit the three blades and the LED light kit, then restore power and test all 6 speeds and reverse on the remote.

90 cm and 180 cm downrods in matching finishes drop the fan to the right height on high or raked ceilings.

    Control

    DC wall control

ThreeSixty’s DC wall control replaces the remote receiver: 5 speeds, light on/off and dimming, with a companion handset.

    Common questions

What size room suits the Spitfire DC 60"?

A 152 cm (60") fan suits larger living rooms, open-plan kitchens and bigger alfresco areas. For a bedroom or small living room the 52" is the better fit.

How much air does it move?

Up to 15,968 cubic metres an hour on high, 6,607 on low — more air than the 52" at a slower, quieter blade speed.

How much power does it use?

About 35W / 17W / 5W on high, mid and low. A DC motor uses far less power than an AC ceiling fan for the same airflow.

    Is a remote control included?

Yes. The 6-speed remote also does reverse, natural wind mode and a fan-off timer of 1, 4 or 8 hours, plus light on/off, dimming and colour.

Can I run it in reverse for winter?

Yes. Reverse is on the remote. On a low speed in reverse the fan pushes warm air down from the ceiling without a draught.

    Can it go outside?

Yes, undercover. ThreeSixty rates the Spitfire DC for indoor and undercover outdoor use, like a covered alfresco or patio. It is not for exposed positions in the rain.

Will it fit a raked ceiling?

It handles ceiling slopes up to 12° as standard. Steeper ceilings need ThreeSixty’s sloped-ceiling accessory — ask us and we will quote it with the fan.

What ceiling height do I need?

The lowest blade edge must be at least 2.1 m above the floor, so a standard 2.4 m ceiling is the practical minimum. Ceiling to bottom of the fan is about 28 cm plus 2 cm for the light. For high or raked ceilings, 90 cm and 180 cm downrods are available.

    What does the light do?

It is a 18W LED light with three colour temperatures (3000K / 4300K / 6000K) and dimming, all from the same remote as the fan.

    Do I need an electrician?

Yes. Ceiling fans are hard-wired. A licensed electrician must install it on an earthed circuit with an all-pole isolation switch, fixed to a structure that can hold four times the fan’s weight.

    What is the warranty?

ThreeSixty gives a 3-year in-home warranty when the fan is installed by a licensed electrician to the owner’s manual. Contact us first and we will organise it.

Can I see the installation instructions first?

Yes. ThreeSixty’s Spitfire DC owner’s manual is on the Attachments tab. Your electrician can check the hanger bracket, wiring and downrod before the day.

    Installation and safety

Electrical. Hard-wired 230–240 VAC appliance that must be earthed. Install by a licensed electrician with an easily reached all-pole isolation switch.

Mounting. Fix to a structure that holds at least four times the fan’s weight, with the lowest blade edge at least 2.1 m above the floor. Stop the fan if it wobbles unusually and have it checked.
