A 10-camera VIP Vision 8600 Series kit: eight 8MP 4K deterrence turrets and two 8MP 180° dual-lens turrets on the NVR16PRO16P-I3 16-channel PoE recorder, with a 4TB drive fitted and cables in the box.

VIP Vision 8600 Series kit. Eight 8MP 4K deterrence turrets and two 8MP 180° dual-lens turrets on the NVR16PRO16P-I3 16-channel PoE recorder with a 4TB drive fitted. Every camera lights up, flashes red and blue and sounds a siren when a person or vehicle comes in.
In one sentence: the NKPRO-168608D2DD is a VIP Vision Professional AI NVR16PRO16P-I3 16-channel PoE recorder with a 4TB surveillance drive and eight VSIPP-8DG-ID4 8MP 4K deterrence turrets and two VSIPP-8DD-ID3 8MP 180° dual-lens turrets, with Cat5e cables included.
Everything to record 10 cameras, with the 4TB drive already fitted.
Every camera plugs straight into the recorder’s PoE ports with the cables in the box. Add a screen and an internet connection and you are recording. Bigger drives are in the drive options.
Most cameras only record a break-in. These spot a person or vehicle crossing a line you draw, then switch on a warm white light, flash red and blue and sound a siren, while the recorder sends an alert to your phone.

The recorder
Each camera takes power and video from one network cable plugged into the back. The recorder handles up to 384Mbps (200Mbps with AI on), records up to 32MP, shows 4K on HDMI and has 4 drive bays of up to 16TB each. The 4TB drive is fitted, and the other bays are free for more storage. Six channels are left for more cameras.

Eight in the kit
A 1/2.7” 8MP sensor behind a bright 2.8 mm F1.0 lens gives a 106° view at 3840 × 2160 and 25 fps. It switches to colour at night with its warm white spotlight, has 30 m infrared, a built-in mic and speaker for two-way talk, a microSD slot up to 256GB and an IP67 metal housing. It identifies a face at about 7 m and detects a person out to 66 m.

Two in the kit
Two 4MP sensors are stitched into one 8MP 4096 × 1860 picture covering 180° across, so one camera on a corner or the middle of a wall watches the whole yard. It has two warm white lights (20 m), 25 m infrared, a red and blue strobe, a siren, a mic and speaker, microSD up to 256GB and an IP67 metal housing.
How it goes in
01
Mount the cameras about 2.4–3 m high, under eaves where you can. Put the 180° cameras on a corner or the middle of a long wall, and aim the others at doors, gates and paths.
02
Run one network cable from each camera back to the recorder. The kit includes 5 × 20 m and 5 × 30 m Cat5e network cables; PoE works on runs up to 100 m.
03
Plug the cameras into the PoE ports, the screen into HDMI or VGA and the network port into your router, then power on and follow the startup wizard.
04
Scan the recorder’s QR code with the DMSS app, then draw tripwire lines or zones so alerts, lights and sirens only fire for people and vehicles.

The VSIPP-8DG-ID4 is a single-lens 8MP turret with a 106° view, a spotlight, a red and blue strobe and a siren, best for detail at a door, gate or driveway. The VSIPP-8DD-ID3 uses two lenses to cover 180° in one picture, with lights, strobe and siren, best for a whole yard or driveway from one spot.
Yes. A 4TB surveillance drive is fitted in the recorder. There are 3 more bays, and each bay takes a drive of up to 16TB. Bigger drives are in the options.
As a rough guide, about 8 to 13 days with all 10 cameras recording around the clock on H.265 on the 4TB drive. Recording on events, or adding a bigger drive, stretches that a long way.

Many customers do, because each camera needs one cable and the recorder finds it automatically. In Australia, cable run inside walls and ceilings should be installed by a registered cabler.
