VIP Vision 8600 Series kit. Eight 8MP 180° dual-lens turrets on the NVR8PRO-I 8-channel PoE recorder with a 2TB drive fitted. Every camera lights up, flashes red and blue and sounds a siren when a person or vehicle comes in.
In one sentence: the NKPRO-886808DD is a VIP Vision Professional AI NVR8PRO-I 8-channel PoE recorder with a 2TB surveillance drive and eight VSIPP-8DD-ID3 8MP 180° dual-lens turrets, with Cat5e cables included.
Everything to record 8 cameras, with the 2TB drive already fitted.
Every camera plugs straight into the recorder’s PoE ports with the cables in the box. Add a screen and an internet connection and you are recording.

Most cameras only record a break-in. These spot a person or vehicle crossing a line you draw, then switch on a warm white light, flash red and blue and sound a siren, while the recorder sends an alert to your phone.

The recorder
NVR8PRO-I: 8 channels, 8 PoE ports, 72 W.
Each camera takes power and video from one network cable plugged into the back. The recorder handles up to 256Mbps (180Mbps with AI on), records up to 16MP, shows 4K on HDMI and has 2 drive bays of up to 16TB each. The 2TB drive is fitted, and the other bay is free for more storage.

Eight in the kit
VSIPP-8DD-ID3: 180° from one camera.
Two 4MP sensors are stitched into one 8MP 4096 × 1860 picture covering 180° across, so one camera on a corner or the middle of a wall watches the whole yard. It has two warm white lights (20 m), 25 m infrared, a red and blue strobe, a siren, a mic and speaker, microSD up to 256GB and an IP67 metal housing.
How it goes in
From the box to recording.
01
Plan the positions
Mount the cameras about 2.4–3 m high, under eaves where you can. A corner or the middle of a long wall gives the 180° view the most to see.
02
Run the cables
Run one network cable from each camera back to the recorder. The kit includes 4 × 20 m and 4 × 30 m Cat5e network cables; PoE works on runs up to 100 m.
03
Connect the recorder
Plug the cameras into the PoE ports, the screen into HDMI or VGA and the network port into your router, then power on and follow the startup wizard.
04
Set the app and zones
Scan the recorder’s QR code with the DMSS app, then draw tripwire lines or zones so alerts, lights and sirens only fire for people and vehicles.

Common questions
What is the VSIPP-8DD-ID3 best at?
The VSIPP-8DD-ID3 uses two lenses to cover 180° in one picture, with lights, strobe and siren, best for a whole yard or driveway from one spot. It identifies a face at about 5 m and detects a person out to 50 m.
Is the hard drive included?
Yes. A 2TB surveillance drive is fitted in the recorder. There is a second bay, and each bay takes a drive of up to 16TB.
How many days will it record?
As a rough guide, about 5 to 8 days with all 8 cameras recording around the clock on H.265 on the 2TB drive. Recording on events, or adding a bigger drive, stretches that a long way.
Are the cables included?
Yes: 4 × 20 m and 4 × 30 m Cat5e network cables, plus a 1 m cable for your router. For a camera further away, use a longer Cat5e or Cat6 run of up to 100 m.
Do the cameras need power points?
No. The recorder powers the cameras through the network cable (PoE), so the only power point needed is at the recorder.
What sets off the lights and siren?
A person or vehicle crossing a tripwire line or entering a zone you draw. You choose which cameras react and when, so it can stay quiet during the day.
Can I talk through the cameras?
Yes, on the VSIPP-8DD-ID3: a built-in microphone and speaker let you listen and talk from the app.
Can I add more cameras later?
Every channel is in use. For more cameras, step up to a kit with a larger recorder.
Can I watch it on my phone?
Yes. Connect the recorder to your router and scan its QR code in the free DMSS app for live view, playback and alerts on iPhone and Android.
How far do they see at night?
Infrared reaches 25 m in black and white, and the warm white lights give colour closer in.
Can I install it myself?
Many customers do, because each camera needs one cable and the recorder finds it automatically. In Australia, cable run inside walls and ceilings should be installed by a registered cabler.
What is the warranty?
4 years, supported in Australia by Infront Technologies. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.

Installation and safety
Power. Use the power cable supplied with the recorder (100–240 V AC). Power off before fitting or removing a hard drive.
Placement. Keep the recorder indoors between −10 °C and 55 °C with space around its vents, somewhere secure. The cameras are rated IP67 for outdoor use.
Cabling. Fixed cable inside walls and ceilings must be installed by a registered cabler to the Australian wiring rules.
Privacy. Aim cameras at your own property. Recording audio and filming neighbours or public areas are covered by state surveillance laws.
