The Datatek 24SECCAB is a locked vertical cabinet for a 24″ monitor and 2RU NVR or DVR. White hammertone steel, dual locks, a 5-outlet PDU and two USB fans in the box. Closed size 580 × 185 × 635 mm.

Reception desks and cupboard shelves are where recorders grow a nest of PSUs. 24SECCAB puts the monitor on the back plane, the recorder on the drop-down door, and the leads through Ø50 mm grommets — then two locks close the job.

Cold-rolled steel with a white hammertone face that Datatek rates as mark, scratch and fingerprint resistant. Dual cabinet locks at the top of the door — two keys in the kit.

PDU, USB fans, Ø50 mm grommets.

A 5-outlet PDU (24SECPDU) is in the kit. If you outgrow five sockets, the cabinet is built to take a standard 19″ rack PDU.

Two USB fans (24SECFAN) share a Y-cable to one USB power source. Side vents plus the fans are the cooling path. Cable entry is Ø50 mm knockouts with 24SECGRO grommets. The rear panel has keyhole slots and a VESA pattern; a wall template is in the box.

How it works

From template to first recordings.

Mark the wall

Use the supplied template. Fix through the rear keyholes into structure that will take the cabinet plus 30 kg of kit.

Hang the monitor

VESA 50/75/100 on the back plane. Choose a 24″ (max) panel whose HDMI and IEC hang downward.

Land the recorder

Captive nuts and brackets hold 2RU gear on the drop-down door. PDU at the top; fans on the Y-cable.

Grommet and lock

Bring camera and power tails through the Ø50 mm knockouts. Close the door on the steel stays and lock both barrels.

Common questions

Is the NVR and monitor included?

No. 24SECCAB is the cabinet and accessory kit only. You supply the recorder, the 24″ (max) monitor and any USB power source for the fans.

What fits inside?

Datatek rates it for up to 2RU equipment 240–480 mm wide and 465 mm deep — typical 4HDD NVR/DVR class — plus a monitor up to 24″ on VESA 50/75/100 with downward HDMI and power. Maximum load is 30 kg.

Are the PDU and fans in the box?

Yes. The kit includes the 5-outlet PDU (24SECPDU) and two USB fans (24SECFAN) on a Y-cable. The cabinet will also take a standard 19″ rack PDU if you need more outlets. A USB power source for the fans is not listed in the kit.

White or black?

This listing is the white hammertone 24SECCAB. Black is a different model: 24SECCAB-BLK.

How do I mount it?

It is a vertical wall cabinet. The rear panel has keyhole slots and the box includes a wall-mounting template, captive nuts and screws. Fixings must suit the wall and the 30 kg rating — see the installation notice below.

Installation & safety notice

Wall structure. This is a steel wall cabinet with a 30 kg load rating. Fixings and substrate must suit the combined weight of cabinet, recorder, monitor and PDU. Do not hang it on plasterboard alone unless the fixings reach studs or a rated noggin.

Mains power. The included PDU is a 240 V outlet strip. New circuits, hard-wired tails or work in a switchboard must be done by a licensed electrician. Plug-in use of the PDU in an existing GPO is the usual path on a fit-off.

Specs in good faith. Dimensions, 2RU / 30 kg / 24″ VESA figures are taken from the Datatek 24SECCAB information sheet. Confirm chassis depth before ordering a deep recorder. NVR, monitor and USB fan power are not included.
