Two deterrence cameras.
One with a 180° view.
VIP Vision Professional AI kit. An 8MP ID4 deterrence turret and an 8MP 180° dual-lens turret on an 8-channel PoE recorder with a 2TB drive fitted. Both cameras light up, flash red and blue and sound a siren when a person or vehicle comes in.
In one sentence: the NKPRO-88601D1DD is a VIP Vision NVR8PRO-I 8-channel PoE recorder with a 2TB drive, one VSIPP-8DG-ID4 8MP deterrence turret and one VSIPP-8DD-ID3 8MP 180° dual-lens deterrence turret, with Cat5e cables included.
Everything to record two cameras, with the 2TB drive already fitted.
Both cameras plug straight into the recorder’s PoE ports with the cables in the box. Add a screen and an internet connection and you are recording.

Warn them off before anything happens.
Most cameras only record a break-in. These two spot a person or vehicle crossing a line you draw, then switch on a warm white spotlight, flash red and blue and sound a siren, while the recorder sends an alert to your phone.

One in the kit
VSIPP-8DG-ID4: 8MP 4K with a spotlight, strobe and siren.
A 1/2.7” 8MP sensor behind a 2.8 mm F1.0 lens gives a 106° view at 3840 × 2160 and 25 fps. It switches to colour at night with its warm white spotlight, has 30 m infrared, a built-in mic and speaker for two-way talk, a microSD slot up to 256GB and an IP67 metal housing. It identifies a face at about 7 m and detects a person out to 66 m.

One in the kit
VSIPP-8DD-ID3: 180° from one camera.
Two 4MP sensors are stitched into one 8MP 4096 × 1860 picture covering 180° across, so one camera on a corner or the middle of a wall watches the whole yard. It has two warm white lights (20 m), 25 m infrared, a red and blue strobe, a siren, a mic and speaker, microSD up to 256GB and an IP67 metal housing.

The recorder
NVR8PRO-I: 8 PoE ports, 72 W, room for 6 more cameras.
Each camera takes power and video from one network cable plugged into the back. The recorder handles up to 256Mbps (180Mbps with AI on), records up to 16MP, shows 4K on HDMI and has two drive bays of up to 16TB each. The 2TB drive is fitted, and the second bay is free for more storage.
How it goes in
From the box to recording.
01
Plan the positions
Mount the cameras about 2.4–3 m high, under eaves where you can. Put the 180° turret on a corner or the middle of a long wall, and the ID4 turret on the door, gate or driveway you most want faces from.
02
Run the cables
Run one network cable from each camera back to the recorder. The kit has a 20 m and a 30 m cable; PoE works on runs up to 100 m.
03
Connect the recorder
Plug the cameras into the PoE ports, the screen into HDMI or VGA and the network port into your router, then power on and follow the startup wizard.
04
Set the app and zones
Scan the recorder’s QR code with the DMSS app, then draw tripwire lines or zones so the alerts, lights and siren only fire for people and vehicles.

Common questions
What is the difference between the two cameras?
The VSIPP-8DG-ID4 is a single-lens 8MP turret with a 106° view, best for detail at a door or gate. The VSIPP-8DD-ID3 uses two lenses to cover 180° in one picture, best for a whole yard or driveway from one spot.
Is the hard drive included?
Yes. A 2TB surveillance drive is fitted in the recorder. There is a second bay, and each bay takes a drive of up to 16TB.
How many days will it record?
As a rough guide, about three to five weeks with both cameras recording around the clock on H.265. Recording on events, or adding a bigger drive, stretches that further.
Are the cables included?
Yes, one 20 m and one 30 m Cat5e cable, plus a 1 m cable for your router. For a camera further away, use a longer Cat5e or Cat6 run of up to 100 m.
Do the cameras need power points?
No. The recorder powers both cameras through the network cable (PoE), so the only power point needed is at the recorder.
What sets off the lights and siren?
A person or vehicle crossing a tripwire line or entering a zone you draw. You choose which cameras react and when, so it can stay quiet during the day.
Can I talk through the cameras?
Yes. Both cameras have a built-in microphone and speaker, so you can listen and talk from the app.
Can I add more cameras later?
Yes. Six channels and six PoE ports are free on the NVR8PRO-I, within its 72 W PoE budget. VIP Vision Professional AI cameras plug straight in.
Can I watch it on my phone?
Yes. Connect the recorder to your router and scan its QR code in the free DMSS app for live view, playback and alerts on iPhone and Android.
Will they see at night?
Yes. The ID4 turret has 30 m infrared and the 180° turret 25 m. Either can switch to colour at night using its warm white lights.
Can I install it myself?
Many customers do, because each camera needs one cable and the recorder finds it automatically. In Australia, cable run inside walls and ceilings should be installed by a registered cabler.
What is the warranty?
4 years, supported in Australia by Infront Technologies. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.

Installation and safety
Power. Use the power cable supplied with the recorder (100–240 V AC). Power off before fitting or removing a hard drive.
Placement. Keep the recorder indoors between −10 °C and 55 °C with space around its vents, somewhere secure. The cameras are IP67 rated for outdoor use.
Cabling. Fixed cable inside walls and ceilings must be installed by a registered cabler to the Australian wiring rules.
Privacy. Aim cameras at your own property. Recording audio and filming neighbours or public areas are covered by state surveillance laws.
