Akuvox AK-S535ONWALLMT is the thick on-wall box for an S535 with an expansion module fitted underneath. At 259.5 mm it carries the station and its module on one box, and at 34 mm deep — instead of 15 mm — with a 25 mm round cable entry in the base, it lets cable come up from below rather than only through the wall behind the door phone.

The AK-S535ONWALLMT is Akuvox’s thick on-wall mounting box for an S535 with a module plugged into its expansion port. It is long enough for the 260 mm station-and-module assembly and deep enough to bring the cable in through the base.

This SKU is the thick on-wall box for S535 with modules.

You receive the black S535 thick on-wall mounting box, module length. The S535 and the expansion module are sold separately.

Station and module on one plate.

The S535 hooks onto the top of the box and the module sits directly below it. One Torx screw through the bottom of the module locks the pair to the box.

Design

Module length, 34 mm deep.

259.5 × 99.5 mm with the same two hooks, centre cable opening and bottom screw tab as the standard module box, but 34 mm deep instead of 15 mm.

A 25 mm round entry in the base lets cable come up from below — from a surface run or conduit — where it can’t come through the wall behind the door phone.

Fingerprint, loop, LTE or QR scanner.

The S535 has one expansion port at the bottom. Akuvox offers fingerprint, induction loop, LTE and QR scanner modules, each adding 50 mm below the station.

With any one of them fitted the S535 measures 260 × 100 mm, and this box carries the whole assembly.

Common questions

What is the difference from the standard S535 on-wall box for modules?

Depth and cable entry. Both carry an S535 with a module; this box is 34 mm deep instead of 15 mm and adds a 25 mm cable entry in the base.

Can I use it for an S535 without a module?

It is not intended for that — the bottom fixing screw goes into the module. Use the standard-length thick box (AK-S535ONWALLT) instead.

Which modules does it suit?

Any one Akuvox S535 expansion module: fingerprint, induction loop, LTE or QR scanner.

How high should it go?

Akuvox’s placement drawing keeps the camera centre 1,500 mm above the ground, with the bottom of the module about 1,258 mm up.

Are the S535 or the module included?

No. This SKU is the mounting box only.

Choose the box to match the build.

Use this box when a module is fitted and you want the bottom cable entry or the extra depth. With a module and cable through the wall, the standard-depth module box is slimmer; an S535 on its own uses the standard-length thick box (AK-S535ONWALLT).

Installation & safety notice

Fitting. Mount the box with the arrow on its back pointing up, and bring the cable in through the centre opening or the 25 mm entry in the base. Power the S535 off, fit the module to the expansion port with its shoulder screws, then hang the station on the hooks and fasten the Torx screw at the bottom of the module. Akuvox’s placement drawing keeps the camera centre at 1,500 mm, with the bottom of the module about 1,258 mm above the ground.
