Akuvox AK-E18INWALLK flush-mounts the E18C 7″ facial recognition door phone. The kit includes the in-wall box, the bracket and the trim plate that sandwich the door phone, plus six wall anchors, screws and an Allen wrench.

The AK-E18INWALLK is Akuvox’s flush-mounting kit for the E18 series. The E18C ships for surface mounting; this kit sets it into the wall for a flatter, built-in finish.

This SKU is the in-wall installation kit.

You receive the flush box, bracket, plate and fixings listed below. The E18C door phone is sold separately.

On a lobby wall or a new-build entry, a recessed E18C looks part of the building rather than an add-on.

In the kit

Box, bracket and plate.

The flush box goes into the wall with knock-out cable entries. The door phone is sandwiched between the flush bracket and the flush plate, and the assembly fixes to the box.

Six M3×8 screws, two M4×16 Torx screws, six ST4×20 screws with anchors and an Allen wrench are included.

Fit

Made for the E18C.

The E18C measures 275 × 120 × 34.6 mm and supports flush or wall mounting. The box is 317 × 140 × 50 mm and needs a 320 × 145 × 56 mm wall opening; the 325 × 156 mm plate covers the cut edge.

It suits the standard E18C and the E18C with the internal LTE module fitted.

Which door phone does it fit?

The Akuvox E18C, including E18C units with the internal LTE module fitted.

How big a hole do I need?

320 mm high, 145 mm wide and 56 mm deep. The box itself is 317 × 140 × 50 mm.

How much does it stand off the wall?

Only the 3 mm trim plate and the door phone face sit proud; the 325 × 156 mm plate covers the edge of the cut-out.

What fixings are included?

Six M3×8 screws, two M4×16 Torx screws, six ST4×20 screws with plastic anchors and an Allen wrench.

Can I add the on-wall rain hood to a flush E18C?

No. The on-wall rain hood is for surface-mounted E18C units.

Is the door phone included?

No. The kit contains the box, bracket, plate and fixings only.

Flush E18C installs.

Order one kit per E18C you want recessed; surface installs on exposed walls use the E18 on-wall rain hood instead.

Installation & safety notice

Fitting. Cut a 320 × 145 × 56 mm (H × W × D) hole at the cable position and fix the box with six ST4×20 screws and anchors. The bracket, door phone and plate are screwed together with six M3×8 screws, then the assembly is fixed to the box with two M4×16 Torx screws — see the Akuvox E18 in-wall quick guide.
