The AK-S538ONWALLK is Akuvox’s wall-mounting kit for the S538. The door phone is supplied without a box, so every S538 needs either this on-wall kit or the in-wall kit.

This SKU is the on-wall installation kit.

The 16.3 mm plate keeps a surface-mounted S538 slim, and cables come through its centre opening from behind — no chasing a 290 mm pocket into the wall.

A plate the S538 slides onto.

Black metal plate with two hooks near the top and a cable opening below. The S538 is aligned with the plate and slid down until it engages the top and bottom hooks.

A drilling template, six ST4×20 screws with anchors, and two M4×30 screws for an existing wall box are included.

No. Every S538 needs either this on-wall kit or the S538 in-wall kit.

Can I mount it over an existing wall box?

Yes. Use four ST4×20 screws into the wall and the two M4×30 screws into an 86-type embedded box.

Will the rain cover fit with this kit?

Yes. The S538 on-wall rain cover is for surface-mounted S538 units and shares this plate’s fixing holes.

Is the door phone included?

No. This SKU is the mounting kit only.

Installation & safety notice

Fitting. Apply the template with the cables through its cut-out, drill six 6 mm holes 25 mm deep and fix the box with the ST4×20 screws and anchors — or four ST4×20 and the two M4×30 into an existing 86-type box. Slide the S538 down onto the hooks and fasten the Torx screw at the bottom — see the Akuvox S538 installation guide.
