Red and blue lights.
A siren. Your voice.

This is the Uniview IPC3636SS-ADF28KMC-I1. A 6MP Tri-Guard turret with a red and blue warning light. When a person or vehicle crosses into a zone you set, it flashes red and blue, sounds a siren through its speaker and alerts your phone, and you can talk to them through it.

In one sentence: the IPC3636SS-ADF28KMC-I1 is a white 6MP (3072 × 2048) Tri-Guard turret with a 2.8 mm F1.0 lens, a red and blue warning light, speaker and mic, person and vehicle detection, 30 m IR and 30 m warm light, and IP67, powered by PoE.

One camera, one Cat6 cable.

Video, power and audio share a single Cat6 run from a PoE recorder or switch. The light, speaker and microphone are built in.

In the box
  • IPC3636SS-ADF28KMC-I1 camera
  • Waterproof cable gland parts
  • Screw kit and mount accessories
You also need
  • A PoE NVR or switch (802.3af), or a 12 V DC supply
  • Cat6 cable to the camera
  • A microSD card up to 512GB, to record on the camera
  • TR-JB03-H-IN junction box or TR-WM03-B-IN wall mount, if needed

A warning nobody can miss.

Flashing red and blue reads as “you have been seen”. Add a siren and a live voice from the app, and most intruders leave before they reach the door. It records 6MP at a full 30 fps across 112.8°, and Uniview rates it to identify a person at 6.3 m.

Size

A compact metal turret.

Body Ø129 × 118 mm, 0.69 kg. The eyeball pans 360°, tilts 0–80° and rotates 360° in its metal base.

How it goes in

From the box to warning intruders off.

01

Pick the spot

High enough to be out of easy reach (about 2.5–3 m), low enough to see faces, with the area you want to protect fully in view.

02

Fix the base

Screw the base to the eave or ceiling, onto the TR-JB03-H-IN junction box, or to a wall with the TR-WM03-B-IN wall mount.

03

Plug it in

Run Cat6 to a PoE port on the NVR or a PoE switch, using the waterproof cable parts from the box. The camera powers up from the cable.

04

Draw zones, link the warning

Turn the eyeball to frame the view, then draw the lines and zones that should set off the light and siren, and pick people, vehicles or both.

Pair it with

What goes with it

Recorder

Uniview PoE NVR

Powers the camera over one Cat6 cable, adds it automatically and lets you search footage by clothing and vehicle colour.

Mounting

TR-JB03-H-IN junction box

Sits under the turret and encloses the cable joint where there is no cavity behind.

Walls

TR-WM03-B-IN wall mount

Holds the turret out from the wall so it can look along the building. TR-JB07/WM03-F-IN adds a back box for the joint.

Storage

Surveillance hard drive

A 2, 4 or 6TB surveillance drive in the NVR for weeks of 24/7 recording.

Where it is used

Where the 6MP Tri-Guard turret fits

Front entries

Greet couriers, warn off late-night visitors.

Carports and garages

Light and siren when someone approaches the car.

Shop and office doors

After-hours warnings with clear footage.

Back lanes

Move on loiterers at rear doors and bin areas.

Model codes shortened from IPC363…-ADF28KMC(-WP)-I1. White and black (-BK) versions share the same specifications. All four have a 2.8 mm F1.0 lens, 30 m IR plus 30 m warm light, speaker with two-way audio, person and vehicle detection, 130 dB WDR, alarm and audio in/out, microSD up to 512GB, IP67 and PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC, at 30 fps. — means not rated. Common questions

What does Tri-Guard mean?

It is Uniview’s name for three things working together: Smart Intrusion Prevention (the camera tells people and vehicles from other movement), colour video at night, and active deterrence (a light and a speaker that warn an intruder off). The camera does not just record a break-in, it tries to stop one.

What happens when someone walks into my zone?

You draw lines and zones on the picture. When a person or vehicle crosses one, the camera flashes its red and blue warning light and sounds a warning through its speaker, and sends an alert to your NVR and phone. Most people leave as soon as they realise they have been seen.

Will cats, trees or headlights set it off?

Far less often than plain motion detection. The camera classifies what it sees as a person, a vehicle or a bike, and ignores most false triggers from leaves, birds and changing light. You choose which targets set off the light and sound.

Can I talk to people through it?

Yes. It has a built-in microphone and speaker with two-way audio, so you can listen in and speak to a courier, a visitor or an intruder live from the Uniview app or the NVR.

Do I have to use the light and siren?

No. They only go off for the smart events you link them to, and you can schedule them, for example after hours only. Leave them off and it works as a normal camera with smart alerts.

Will it work with my recorder?

Uniview NVRs find it on their PoE ports and add it automatically, with the smart events and the light and siren settings. Other recorders that support ONVIF Profile S, G, T or M can record it too, although smart events and deterrence controls may only work fully on Uniview.

Can it record without an NVR?

Yes. Fit a microSD card of up to 512GB and it records on the camera. With an NVR, the card also covers network drop-outs: ANR sends the missed footage to the recorder when the link returns.

How is it powered?

By PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over the same Cat6 cable as the video, from a PoE NVR or switch, or from a 12 V DC supply. It draws 10.0 W at most, even with the lights and speaker running.

Can I find footage quickly?

Yes. Smart Intrusion Prevention records the colour of clothing and vehicles it detects, so on a Uniview NVR you can search for, say, a person in a red top or a white car instead of scrubbing through hours of video.

What is the warranty?

Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.

What resolution and frame rate does it record?

6MP (3072 × 2048) at a full 30 fps, with 5MP, 4MP, 3MP and 1080p options. Uniview rates it to identify a person at 6.3 m and recognise someone known at 12.6 m with the 2.8 mm lens.

Is there a black version?

Yes. The IPC3636SS-ADF28KMC-I1-BK is the same camera in a black housing for dark eaves, fascias and shopfronts.

Installation and safety

Power. PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 V DC ±25%, 10.0 W maximum. Use one or the other.

Weather. IP67 with 4 kV surge protection. Works from −30 °C to 60 °C. Seal the cable entry with the supplied parts, or use the TR-JB03-H-IN junction box where the joint would be exposed.

Figures. From the Uniview IPC3636SS-ADF28KMC-I1 datasheet (2.8 mm figures where a 4 mm version is also listed). Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront.
