This is the R3148-MS. A 5.8 GHz microwave sensor that plugs into the centre of the hi bay. It turns the light up when it sees movement and dims it back when the area is empty.
In one sentence: the R3148-MS is a Rapid LED plug-in microwave motion and daylight sensor for the R3117 and R3118 ORBIT hi bays, for mounting heights up to 15 m.
Sensor only. The programming remote is sold separately.
It works out of the box on its default settings. To change them you need the R3148-REMOTE.
The sensor plugs into the socket under the hi bay. Out of the box it detects across 100% of its range, holds the light on for 3 minutes, and ignores daylight. The remote changes all of that.
Fits
The R3117 and R3118 have a sensor socket in the centre of the LED board. The R3148-MS plugs in and dims the hi bay on its 0–10 V control line.
