A simple 5MP bullet
for the basics.
This is the Uniview IPC2125LR3-PF40M-D. A compact 5MP bullet camera with a 4 mm lens, 30 m infrared and a metal IP67 housing. It keeps things simple: plain motion detection, no audio and no memory card, recording to your NVR.
In one sentence: the IPC2125LR3-PF40M-D is a 5MP (2592 × 1944) mini bullet with a 4.0 mm F2.0 lens, 79.7° view, 30 m Smart IR, digital WDR and a metal IP67 housing, powered by PoE.
One camera, one Cat6 cable.
Video and power share a single Cat6 run from a PoE recorder or switch. Mounts are optional.
- IPC2125LR3-PF40M-D camera
- Fixing screws and drill template
- Quick guide
- A PoE NVR or switch (802.3af), or a 12 V DC supply
- Cat6 cable to the camera
- TR-UP06-B-IN pole bracket or TR-UP06-C-IN pole adapter, for pole mounting
A tighter 4 mm view.
The 4 mm lens takes in 79.7°, narrower than a 2.8 mm camera, which puts more pixels on a path, gate or driveway. Uniview rates it to identify a person at 6 m and recognise someone known at 12 m.

Size
167.3 × 62.9 × 62.7 mm, 0.45 kg.
A small metal bullet, 167 mm long, with the cable running through its bracket.
How it goes in
From the box to recording.
01
Pick the spot
High enough to be out of easy reach, close enough to see faces, with a route for one Cat6 cable. Under an eave keeps sun and rain off the lens.
02
Fix the bracket
Screw the bracket to the wall or eave, or to a pole with the TR-UP06-B-IN bracket or TR-UP06-C-IN adapter.
03
Plug it in
Run Cat6 to a PoE port on the NVR or a PoE switch. The camera powers up from the cable.
04
Aim and add
Swing the bracket to frame the view and lock it, then add it to the NVR or the Uniview EZView app.

Model codes shortened: IPC2125LR3-PF40M-D, IPC2B16SS-ADF28K-I1, IPC2B18SS-ADF28K-I1. All three are IP67 and run on PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC. — means not listed. Figures from the Uniview datasheets.
Common questions
Why choose 4 mm over 2.8 mm?
A 4 mm lens sees a narrower area (79.7° across) but shows it in more detail, so it suits paths, gates and driveways where you want faces rather than the whole yard. For a wider view, see the 2.8 mm IPC2B16SS or IPC2B18SS bullets.
What resolution and frame rate does it record?
5MP (2592 × 1944) at up to 20 fps.
How far does it see at night?
Up to 30 m with infrared, in black and white. Smart IR turns the IR down on close objects so faces are not washed out.
Does it tell people from other movement?
No. It has plain motion detection over up to 4 areas. For person and vehicle sorting, choose the 6MP IPC2B16SS-ADF28K-I1 or 8MP IPC2B18SS-ADF28K-I1 bullet.
Does it record sound?
No. This model has no microphone or audio connections. For sound, choose the IPC2B16SS-ADF28K-I1 or IPC2B18SS-ADF28K-I1 bullet.
Can it go on a pole?
Yes, with the TR-UP06-B-IN pole bracket or the TR-UP06-C-IN pole adapter, which straps to poles and rails 67–127 mm across.
Will it work with my recorder?
Uniview NVRs find it on their PoE ports and add it automatically. Other recorders that support ONVIF Profile S, T can add it too, although the smart events may only come through on a Uniview recorder.
Can I watch it on my phone?
Yes. Watch it through your Uniview NVR in the Uniview EZView app, or add the camera to the app on its own. The camera also has its own web page for live view and settings.
Does it have a memory card slot?
No. It records to an NVR over the network, so plan on a Uniview or other ONVIF recorder with this camera.
How is it powered?
By PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over the same Cat6 cable as the video, from a PoE NVR or switch. Without PoE, it runs on a 12 V DC supply. It draws 4 W at most.
What is Ultra 265?
Uniview’s own video compression. It keeps the same picture as H.265 in less space, so the recorder holds more days of footage. H.265, H.264 and MJPEG are there too.
What is the warranty?
Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.
Supported by Infront Technologies.
