A wide view by day,
80 m of infrared by night.
This is the Uniview IPC2B16SS-ADF28K-I1-BK. A 6MP LightHunter bullet in black with a 2.8 mm lens taking in 110°, and infrared that reaches 80 m. It sorts people and vehicles from other movement and records sound through its built-in mic.
In one sentence: the IPC2B16SS-ADF28K-I1-BK is a black 6MP (3072 × 2048) bullet with a 2.8 mm F1.6 lens, 110° view, 80 m Smart IR, 130 dB WDR, person and vehicle sorting, a built-in mic and IP67 housing, powered by PoE.
One camera, one Cat6 cable.
Video and power share a single Cat6 run from a PoE recorder or switch. Mounts and a memory card are optional.
- IPC2B16SS-ADF28K-I1-BK camera
- Fixing screws and drill template
- Quick guide
- A PoE NVR or switch (802.3af), or a 12 V DC supply
- Cat6 cable to the camera

- Black TR-JB07-D-IN-BK junction box or TR-UP06-B-IN-BK pole bracket, if needed
For long yards and driveways.
A bullet on the wall is the clearest sign a property has cameras. This one pairs a wide 110° view with 80 m of infrared, so long driveways, back fences and yards stay visible after dark. Uniview rates it to identify a person at 6.3 m.

Size
269 × 96 × 82 mm, 0.84 kg.
A metal and plastic bullet 269 mm long with a hood over the lens. The bracket pans, tilts and rotates to level the picture.
How it goes in
From the box to recording.
01
Pick the spot
High enough to be out of easy reach, close enough to see faces, with a route for one Cat6 cable. Under an eave keeps sun and rain off the lens.
02
Fix the bracket
Screw the bracket to the wall or eave, onto a black TR-JB07-D-IN-BK junction box, or to a pole with the TR-UP06-B-IN-BK bracket.
03
Plug it in
Run Cat6 to a PoE port on the NVR or a PoE switch. The camera powers up from the cable.
04
Aim and add
Swing the bracket to frame the view and lock it, then add it to the NVR or the Uniview EZView app.

Model codes shortened: IPC2125LR3-PF40M-D, IPC2B16SS-ADF28K-I1, IPC2B18SS-ADF28K-I1. All three are IP67 and run on PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC. — means not listed. Figures from the Uniview datasheets.
Common questions
Is there a white version?
Yes. The IPC2B16SS-ADF28K-I1 is the same camera in white. The photo here shows the white model; this one is supplied in black.
What resolution and frame rate does it record?
6MP (3072 × 2048) at up to 30 fps. Corridor mode turns the picture to 9:16 for side passages.
How far does it see at night?
Up to 80 m with infrared, in black and white. Smart IR turns the IR down on close objects so faces are not washed out.
Does it tell people from other movement?
Yes. Smart intrusion prevention covers line crossing, intrusion and entering or leaving an area, and sorts what it sees into people, vehicles and bikes, which filters out most false alarms from leaves, birds and changing light. It also counts people, and can alert on an object left behind or taken away.
Does it record sound?
Yes, through the built-in microphone. It also has an audio output, so an external speaker can be connected for two-way talk from the app or NVR.
Can it go on a pole?
Yes, with the black TR-UP06-B-IN-BK pole bracket. On a wall or eave with no cavity behind, add the black TR-JB07-D-IN-BK junction box to hide the cable joint.
Will it work with my recorder?
Uniview NVRs find it on their PoE ports and add it automatically. Other recorders that support ONVIF Profile S, G, T can add it too, although the smart events may only come through on a Uniview recorder.
Can I watch it on my phone?
Yes. Watch it through your Uniview NVR in the Uniview EZView app, or add the camera to the app on its own. The camera also has its own web page for live view and settings.
Can it record without an NVR?
Yes. Fit a microSD card of up to 512GB and it records on the camera itself. With a Uniview NVR, the card also covers network drop-outs: ANR sends the missed footage to the recorder when the link returns.
How is it powered?
By PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over the same Cat6 cable as the video, from a PoE NVR or switch. Without PoE, it runs on a 12 V DC supply. It draws 10.0 W at most.
What is Ultra 265?
Uniview’s own video compression. It keeps the same picture as H.265 in less space, so the recorder holds more days of footage. H.265, H.264 and MJPEG are there too.
What is the warranty?
Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.
Supported by Infront Technologies.

Installation and safety
Power. PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 V DC ±25%, 10.0 W maximum. Use one or the other.
Weather. IP67. Works from −30 °C to 60 °C. Seal the cable entry, or use the matching junction box or mount where the joint would be exposed.
