A 360° view
that counts people too.
This is the Uniview IPC816SB-ADF16KMC-I1. A 6MP fisheye with a 1.6 mm lens that sees the whole room in one 2560 × 2560 picture. It adds smart intrusion prevention, people counting, heat maps and two-way audio.
In one sentence: the IPC816SB-ADF16KMC-I1 is a 6MP (2560 × 2560) fisheye with a 1.6 mm F2.0 lens, 360° panoramic view, 15 m IR, smart intrusion prevention, people counting, dual mics and a speaker, IP67 and IK10, powered by PoE.
One camera, one Cat6 cable.
Video and power share a single Cat6 run from a PoE recorder or switch. A junction box or wall mount is only needed if the site calls for it.
- IPC816SB-ADF16KMC-I1 camera
- Mounting screws and accessories
- Quick guide
- A PoE NVR or switch (802.3af), or a 12 V DC supply
- Cat6 cable to the camera
- A microSD card up to 512GB, to record on the camera
- TR-JB03-H-IN junction box or a TR-CM24-IN / TR-SE24-A-IN mount, if needed
See the room, and how people use it.
From the centre of the ceiling it sees every wall. Line crossing and intrusion with people filtering cut false alarms, while people counting, crowd density and heat maps show how busy each part of a shop or office is.

Design
Slim, with IR all the way round.
IR fills the full 360° up to 15 m. Dual mics and a speaker are built in.

Coverage
360° panorama from 1.6 mm.
Uniview rates it to identify a person at 3.6 m and recognise someone known at 7.2 m, with detection out to 36 m.

Dimensions
Ø126 × 52 mm, 0.44 kg.
IP67 and IK10, working from −30 °C to 60 °C.
How it goes in
From the box to recording.
01
Pick the spot
The centre of the ceiling, 2.5–4 m up, so the camera can see every wall.
02
Fix the camera
Screw it to the ceiling, or onto a TR-JB03-H-IN junction box where there is no cavity to hide the cable.
03
Plug it in
Run Cat6 to a PoE port on the NVR or a PoE switch. The camera powers up from the cable.
04
Aim and add
Choose the dewarp views you want, add it to the NVR or the EZView app, then draw the counting lines and zones.

Common questions
Can it count people?
Yes. People counting and crowd density detection are built in. Heat maps need a Uniview management platform.
Does it have smart intrusion detection?
Yes. Line crossing and intrusion with people filtering, so alarms come from people rather than moving shadows.
Can I talk through it?
Yes. Dual microphones and a speaker give two-way audio from the app or the NVR.
How far does it see at night?
Up to 15 m with IR that covers the full 360°.
Why does the picture look round?
A fisheye lens records the whole area as a circle. Dewarping turns that circle into normal-looking views: a single panorama, a double panorama, or several virtual cameras you can zoom into. You can do this live and on recorded footage.
Where should a fisheye go?
In the middle of the ceiling, looking straight down. From there it sees every wall of the room. It also mounts on a wall, where it gives a 180° view across the room.
Will it work with my recorder?
Uniview NVRs find it on their PoE ports and add it automatically, along with its smart events. Other recorders that support ONVIF (Profile S, G, T, M) can add it too, although smart events and the special views may only come through fully on Uniview.
Can I watch it on my phone?
Yes. Watch it through your Uniview NVR in the Uniview EZView app, or add the camera to the app on its own. Live view also works in a web browser.
Can it record without an NVR?
Yes. Fit a microSD card of up to 512GB and it records on the camera itself. With an NVR, the card also covers network drop-outs: ANR sends the missed footage to the recorder when the link returns.
How is it powered?
By PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over the same Cat6 cable as the video, from a PoE NVR or switch. Without PoE, it runs on a 12 V DC supply. It draws 8.4 W at most.
What is Ultra 265?
Uniview’s video compression. It keeps the same picture as H.265 in less space, so the recorder holds more days of footage. H.265, H.264 and MJPEG are there too.
What is the warranty?
Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.
Supported by Infront Technologies.

Installation and safety
Power. Use a PoE (802.3af) port or a regulated 12 V DC supply. Keep cable joints dry inside a junction box or sealed with tape.
Weather. IP67 and IK10, rated from −30 °C to 60 °C.
