This is the Uniview IPC6434LR-X16-VG1. A 4MP PTZ with a 5.5–88 mm 16× lens and 100 m IR. It detects people and vehicles crossing lines or entering zones, then turns and zooms to follow them.
In one sentence: the IPC6434LR-X16-VG1 is a 4MP (2688 × 1520) PTZ with a 5.5–88 mm F1.78–3.73 lens, 16× optical zoom, 100 m IR, LightHunter, auto tracking of people and vehicles, 1024 presets, IP66 and IK10, powered by PoE+ or 12 V DC.
Needs a bracket and a PoE+ port.
One Cat6 cable carries video and power from a PoE+ switch or NVR. Uniview lists the TR-FM180-IN and TR-WE45-IN mounts among others for it.

At 5.5 mm it sees 50.85° across; at 88 mm, 3.47°. Uniview rates it to identify a person at up to 204.8 m fully zoomed in. It pans 360° at up to 240°/s, so it can reach a preset fast when an alarm comes in.

From the box to patrolling.

Plan power and mount
Pick a high point with a clear view in every direction you want to patrol. Check you have a PoE+ (802.3at) port.

Fix the bracket
Mount the bracket on a solid wall, corner or pole, run the cable through it and hang the camera. Seal the cable joint with the supplied waterproof parts.

Power it up
Run Cat6 to a PoE+ port on the switch or NVR, and add it to the NVR or the EZView app.

Set presets and rules
Save presets, set up patrols, draw lines and zones, then turn on auto tracking for people and vehicles.

Common questions
What does auto tracking follow?
People and vehicles. Once one is detected, the camera pans, tilts and zooms to keep it in the picture.
How far does it see at night?
Up to 100 m with IR, which zooms with the lens.
Does it have a microphone?
Not built in. It has one audio input and one output for an external mic and speaker.
Is it vandal resistant?
Yes, IK10, with IP66 weather protection and 6 kV surge protection.
How fast does it move?
It pans 360° endlessly at up to 240°/s and tilts at up to 120°/s.
What is a preset and a patrol?
A preset is a saved position with its own pan, tilt and zoom, such as the gate, the loading dock or the car park entry. A patrol moves the camera through a list of presets on a timer, so one camera keeps watch over several spots.
Does it need a bracket?
Yes. A PTZ camera is heavier than a fixed camera and needs a solid wall, corner, ceiling or pole mount. The Uniview mounts listed for it are shown under What goes with it; call us if you are not sure which one suits the site.
Will it work with my recorder?
Uniview NVRs add it and give you pan, tilt and zoom control from the recorder. Other ONVIF (Profile S, G, T, M) recorders can add it too; smart events and PTZ control depend on that recorder.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes. In the Uniview EZView app you can watch live, pan, tilt and zoom, jump to presets and play back recordings.
Can it record on its own?
Yes, to a microSD card of up to 512GB. With an NVR, ANR fills any gap from the card when a network drop-out ends.
How is it powered?
By PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) over one Cat6 cable, or a 12 V DC (±10%, 3 A) supply. It draws up to 23 W, so a standard 802.3af PoE port is not enough.
What is the warranty?
Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.
