Akuvox C313S is a silver-trimmed 7-inch touch screen SIP indoor monitor running Linux. It is the wired IP version of the C313: two RJ45 ports and 802.3af PoE, no Wi-Fi. See and talk to visitors at your Akuvox door station, unlock from the screen, and monitor eight alarm zones.

7-inch touch screen, one PoE cable.

The AK-C313S-SILVER is Akuvox’s compact Linux indoor monitor for cabled IP intercom systems. A 7-inch capacitive touch screen shows video from your SIP door station, you talk hands-free, and one tap releases the lock. Black glass with a silver lower trim, in a thin housing that sits neatly on a standard wall box.

This SKU is the indoor monitor only.

You receive the silver C313S monitor with its standard mounting hardware. Door stations, PoE switch, power supply and the optional desk bracket are sold separately.

When a visitor presses the button, the C313S rings and shows the door camera. Tap to answer, talk through the built-in speaker and microphone, then tap unlock — all from the touch screen.

Display

Seven inches of touch screen.

A 7-inch projected-capacitive touch screen at 1024 × 600 shows H.264 video from your door station and gives you one-tap answer, unlock and monitoring.

Echo cancellation, voice activity detection and automatic gain control keep two-way audio clear, with G.722 wideband audio over SIP v1 / v2.

Install

One cable, wall or desk.

Two RJ45 ports and 802.3af PoE mean a single Cat cable powers the monitor and carries the call. A 12 V DC input covers sites without PoE.

It fits a US or European electrical wall box, or stands on a desk with the C313 / C315 table bracket. Eight alarm inputs, a bell input, a relay and RS485 connect local sensors and devices.

Common questions

Is the C313S Android?

No. The C313S runs Linux, which keeps it simple and quick to start. Choose an Android model such as the S567 if you need apps.

Does the C313S have Wi-Fi?

No. The S is the wired IP version with two RJ45 ports. The C313W adds 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

How does it differ from the C313W-2?

The C313S is an IP monitor on Ethernet and PoE. The C313W-2 is the two-wire version for retrofits on existing two-core intercom cabling.

Does it have a camera?

No. It shows video from the door station; residents are heard but not seen.

Can it run on PoE?

Yes. It takes 802.3af PoE (≤6 W full load) or a 12 V DC supply (≤6.59 W).

Does it fit an Australian wall plate box?

It is designed for US or European electrical wall boxes. It can also be desk-mounted with the C313 / C315 table bracket.

Can residents also answer on their phones?

Yes, with Akuvox SmartPlus: the building intercom works locally while residents can also take door calls in the SmartPlus app.

Choose the C313S for cabled IP buildings, the C313W where you need Wi-Fi, and the C313W-2 to reuse existing two-wire cabling.

Installation & safety notice

Low-voltage product (SELV). Power from IEEE 802.3af PoE (≤6 W full load), or a 12 V DC supply (≤6.59 W) where PoE is not available.

When a licensed tradesperson is required. Concealed data and intercom cabling is customer cabling under AS/CA S009 and must be installed by an ACMA-registered cabler. Electric locks, maglocks and lock power supplies may require a licensed electrician or security installer.
