Colour at night,
and a voice at the door.
This is the Uniview IPC318SB-ADF28KMC-DL-I1. An 8MP (4K) mini dome with Uniview ColorHunter and Wise ISP for full-colour pictures around the clock. It has both infrared and warm light to 30 m, a built-in dual mic and speaker, and an IK10 metal body.
In one sentence: the IPC318SB-ADF28KMC-DL-I1 is an 8MP (3840 × 2160) dual-light mini dome with a 2.8 mm F1.6 lens, 104° view, 30 m IR and 30 m warm light, 130 dB WDR, person and vehicle sorting, a built-in mic and speaker, IK10 and IP67, powered by PoE.
One camera, one Cat6 cable.
Video and power share a single Cat6 run from a PoE recorder or switch. Mounts and a memory card are optional.
- IPC318SB-ADF28KMC-DL-I1 camera
- Fixing screws and drill template
- Quick guide
- A PoE NVR or switch (802.3af), or a 12 V DC supply
- Cat6 cable to the camera
- A microSD card up to 512GB, to record on the camera
- TR-JB03-G-IN junction box or TR-WM03-D-IN wall mount, if needed
See the colour of a car or a jacket.
Black-and-white night footage loses the details that matter. With warm light switched on, this dome keeps recording in colour after dark, out to 30 m. At 8MP and 30 fps across 104°, Uniview rates it to identify a person at 8.4 m.

Size
Ø111.2 × 72.6 mm, 0.47 kg.
Slightly deeper than the standard mini dome to hold the warm light and speaker. Inside, the lens pans −48° to 48°, tilts 0–80° and rotates 360°.
How it goes in
From the box to recording.
01
Pick the spot
High enough to be out of easy reach, close enough to see faces, with a route for one Cat6 cable. Under an eave keeps sun and rain off the lens.
02
Fix the dome
Screw it to the ceiling, onto a TR-JB03-G-IN junction box, or to a wall with the TR-WM03-D-IN mount.
03
Plug it in
Run Cat6 to a PoE port on the NVR or a PoE switch. The camera powers up from the cable.
04
Aim and add
Open the cover, aim the lens on its three-axis gimbal and refit the cover, then add it to the NVR or the Uniview EZView app.

Common questions
What is ColorHunter?
Uniview’s name for its full-colour low-light cameras. With Wise ISP image processing and the built-in warm light, this model records in colour around the clock instead of switching to black and white at night.
What resolution and frame rate does it record?
8MP (3840 × 2160) at up to 30 fps, with 5MP, 4MP and 1080p also at 30 fps. Corridor mode turns the picture to 9:16 for halls and walkways.
How far does it see at night?
Up to 30 m. It has both infrared and warm white light: infrared gives a discreet black-and-white picture, while the warm light lets it record in full colour at night, also out to 30 m.
Does it tell people from other movement?
Yes. Smart intrusion prevention covers line crossing, intrusion and entering or leaving an area, and sorts what it sees into people, vehicles and bikes. That filters out most false alarms from leaves, birds and changing light. It can also count people and watch crowd density.
Does it record sound?
Yes. It has a built-in dual microphone and a speaker, with two-way audio, so you can listen in and talk to whoever is at the camera from the app or the NVR.
Can I mount it on a wall?
Yes. It mounts on a ceiling, or on a wall with the TR-WM03-D-IN wall mount. Add the TR-JB03-G-IN junction box where there is no cavity behind to hide the cable joint. Indoors it can hang from the ceiling on the TR-CM24-IN pendant mount, with the TR-SE24-A-IN 500 mm pole for high ceilings.
Will it work with my recorder?
Uniview NVRs find it on their PoE ports and add it automatically. Other recorders that support ONVIF Profile S, G, T, M can add it too, although the smart events may only come through on a Uniview recorder.
Can I watch it on my phone?
Yes. Watch it through your Uniview NVR in the Uniview EZView app, or add the camera to the app on its own. The camera also has its own web page for live view and settings.
Can it record without an NVR?
Yes. Fit a microSD card of up to 512GB and it records on the camera itself. With a Uniview NVR, the card also covers network drop-outs: ANR sends the missed footage to the recorder when the link returns.
How is it powered?
By PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over the same Cat6 cable as the video, from a PoE NVR or switch. Without PoE, it runs on a 12 V DC supply. It draws 8.5 W at most.
What is Ultra 265?
Uniview’s own video compression. It keeps the same picture as H.265 in less space, so the recorder holds more days of footage. H.265, H.264 and MJPEG are there too.
What is the warranty?
Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.
Supported by Infront Technologies.

Installation and safety
Power. PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 V DC ±25%, 8.5 W maximum. Use one or the other.
Weather. IP67, IK10. Works from −30 °C to 60 °C. Seal the cable entry, or use the matching junction box or mount where the joint would be exposed.
