Uniview · Pendant pole · 500 mm drop

A longer drop for the camera,
half a metre below the ceiling.

This is the Uniview TR-SE24-A-IN. A 500 mm aluminium pendant pole with a 3/4" thread at each end. Uniview lists it with its pendant mount and junction boxes to hang a dome, turret or fisheye lower than the standard 200 mm drop.

In one sentence: the TR-SE24-A-IN is a Ø32 × 520 mm aluminium alloy pendant pole with 3/4" NPS threads at both ends, weighing 0.35 kg, for indoor or outdoor use.

The pole only. The ceiling plate, junction box and camera are separate.

Uniview lists it as a lengthening pole for its pendant mount (TR-CM24-IN). The camera hangs from its junction box, which screws onto the bottom thread.

In the box
  • TR-SE24-A-IN pendant pole
You also need
  • A ceiling mount: Uniview lists the TR-CM24-IN
  • The junction box for your camera
  • A compatible dome, turret or fisheye
  • Thread sealant for outdoor use

For high roofs and open spaces.

Under a high roof, a camera on the ceiling looks at the tops of the racking. Dropping it half a metre puts it below beams, lights and ducts, with the cable hidden inside the pole.

The top has a Ø32 mm collar with an internal 3/4" NPS thread and a locking screw; the bottom has an external 3/4" NPS thread for the junction box. The cable runs down inside the Ø26.3 mm tube.

Common questions

Which cameras does it suit?

Uniview lists it in the accessory section of most of its dome, turret and fisheye datasheets, including the IPC3238SB, IPC3638SE, IPC328SS, IPC815SB, IPC816SB and IPC86CEB. The camera hangs from its junction box, so pick the box that suits the camera.

What fixes it to the ceiling?

The pole has no ceiling plate of its own. Uniview lists it as an accessory to the TR-CM24-IN pendant mount; the top of the pole has an internal 3/4" thread with a locking screw. Call us and we will confirm the parts for your ceiling.

Which junction box do I need?

TR-JB03-G-IN for IPC32X and IPC31X domes, TR-JB03-H-IN for IPC363X turrets and the IPC814/815 fisheyes, TR-JB03-I-IN for Easy turrets, TR-JB04-D-IN for the 8MP fisheye.

Can I use it outdoors?

Uniview lists the pole for indoor or outdoor use. Under a carport or awning, seal the threads so water cannot run down inside to the camera.

How long is it?

520 mm overall, giving about a 500 mm drop, with a Ø26.3 mm tube and Ø32 mm top collar.

What thread does it have?

3/4" NPS at both ends: internal at the top, external at the bottom.

Does the cable run inside?

Yes, down the inside of the tube, so nothing hangs on the outside.

How much does it weigh?

0.35 kg.

What is it made of?

Aluminium alloy, 0.35 kg.

Is it white or black?

White. It matches Uniview’s white cameras.

Do I need a licensed installer?

Fixing the bracket is a normal handyman job. In Australia, fixed data cabling inside walls and ceilings must be run by a registered cabler; plugging a camera into an existing outlet does not need one.

What is the warranty?

Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.

Supported by Infront Technologies.

Not sure which mount suits your camera or wall? Call 1300 736 970 or email [email protected] with the camera model and a photo of the spot, and we will match the bracket.

Installation and safety

Fixing. A longer pole puts more leverage on the ceiling fixing. Fix the ceiling mount into a joist or concrete and tighten the locking screw. Turn off power to the camera before connecting it.

Weather. Seal both threads with thread sealant outdoors so water cannot run inside the pole to the camera.
