Uniview IPC6424SR-X25-VF-B 4MP 25x PTZ camera
Uniview · 4MP · 25× PTZ

From the whole car park
to one number plate.

This is the Uniview IPC6424SR-X25-VF-B. A full-size 4MP PTZ with a 4.8–120 mm 25× lens and 100 m Smart IR. It tracks people, vehicles and bikes, and pans 360° endlessly at up to 200°/s.

In one sentence: the IPC6424SR-X25-VF-B is a 4MP (2688 × 1520) PTZ with a 4.8–120 mm F1.5–3.8 lens, 25× optical zoom, 100 m Smart IR, LightHunter, auto tracking, people counting, 1024 presets, IP67 and IK10, powered by PoE+ or 12 V DC.

Needs a bracket and a PoE+ port.

The camera is heavier than a fixed camera and draws up to 21 W, so plan the bracket and power first. Uniview lists the TR-WE45-IN and TR-WE45-A-IN wall mounts and TR-UC08-A-IN corner mount for it.

In the box
  • IPC6424SR-X25-VF-B camera
  • Waterproof cable parts
  • Quick guide
You also need
  • A PoE+ (802.3at) port, or a 12 V DC 3 A supply
  • Cat6 cable to the camera
  • A wall or corner bracket (TR-WE45-IN, TR-WE45-A-IN or TR-UC08-A-IN)
  • A microSD card up to 512GB, to record on the camera

Long reach, day and night.

At 4.8 mm it sees 52.2° across; at 120 mm, 2.74°. Uniview rates it to identify a person at up to 247.5 m fully zoomed in. LightHunter keeps colour down to 0.003 lux, and Smart IR takes over to 100 m in the dark.

Dimensions

Ø162 × 293 mm, 3.05 kg.

Plan for a solid wall or corner bracket: Uniview lists the TR-WE45-IN, TR-WE45-A-IN and TR-UC08-A-IN for it.

How it goes in

From the box to patrolling.

01

Plan power and mount

Pick a high point with a clear view of the areas to patrol. Check you have a PoE+ (802.3at) port.

02

Fix the bracket

Mount the bracket on a solid wall, corner or pole, run the cable through it and hang the camera. Seal the cable joint with the supplied waterproof parts.

03

Power it up

Run Cat6 to a PoE+ port on the switch or NVR, and add it to the NVR or the EZView app.

04

Set presets and rules

Save presets, set up patrols, draw lines and zones, then turn on auto tracking.

Common questions

What does auto tracking follow?

People, non-motor vehicles such as bikes, and vehicles. Once one is detected, the camera pans, tilts and zooms to keep it in the picture.

How far does it see at night?

Up to 100 m with Smart IR, which adjusts with the zoom so close targets are not washed out.

Does it have a microphone?

Not built in. It has one audio input and one output for an external mic and speaker.

Does it count people?

Yes, people counting is built in, along with best snapshot of detected targets.

How tough is it?

IP67 and IK10 with 6 kV surge protection, rated from −40 °C to 70 °C.

What is a preset and a patrol?

A preset is a saved position with its own pan, tilt and zoom, such as the gate, the loading dock or the car park entry. A patrol moves the camera through a list of presets on a timer, so one camera keeps watch over several spots.

Does it need a bracket?

Yes. A PTZ camera is heavier than a fixed camera and needs a solid wall, corner, ceiling or pole mount. The Uniview mounts listed for it are shown under What goes with it; call us if you are not sure which one suits the site.

Will it work with my recorder?

Uniview NVRs add it and give you pan, tilt and zoom control from the recorder. Other ONVIF (Profile S, G, T, M) recorders can add it too; smart events and PTZ control depend on that recorder.

Can I control it from my phone?

Yes. In the Uniview EZView app you can watch live, pan, tilt and zoom, jump to presets and play back recordings.

Can it record on its own?

Yes, to a microSD card of up to 512GB. With an NVR, ANR fills any gap from the card when a network drop-out ends.

How is it powered?

By PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) over one Cat6 cable, or a 12 V DC 3 A supply. It draws up to 21 W, so a standard 802.3af PoE port is not enough.

What is the warranty?

Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.

Supported by Infront Technologies.

Installation and safety

Power. Use a PoE+ (802.3at) port or a regulated 12 V DC 3 A supply. The alarm and RS485 connections are low voltage only.

Weather. IP67 and IK10 with 6 kV surge protection, rated from −40 °C to 70 °C.
