Face, PIN, card, NFC, Bluetooth or QR.

Up to 20,000 users, 20,000 face templates, 20,000 cards and 20,000 PINs. The 13.56 MHz reader handles cards and Android NFC; Bluetooth 5.0 and QR codes cover phones and visitors.

Fix the wall bracket, or set the E16 in-wall box for a flush finish. Add the rain hood on exposed doors.

02

Enrol

Add users, faces, cards, PINs and QR codes in the web portal or Akuvox cloud.

04

Answers

Common questions

How is E16C different from E18C?

E16C has a 5″ screen, 1 relay, 1 input and a 13.56 MHz reader in an 88 mm-wide body. E18C has a 7″ screen, 2 relays, 3 inputs, 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz cards, a TF slot and an IK07 rating.

Can photos fool the face recognition?

E16C uses two cameras for liveness detection, which is designed to reject printed photos and screens.

Can it be flush-mounted?

Yes, with the E16 in-wall box, which is sold separately. It surface-mounts on the supplied bracket.

Does it measure temperature?

Only with the optional MD02 forehead temperature module fitted. Without it, the E16C can still detect whether a visitor is wearing a mask.

What power does it need?

IEEE 802.3af PoE, or a 12 V DC supply if PoE is not available.

Face recognition for small sites, local stock.

Choose E16C for offices, townhouse gates and apartment lobbies where the frame is narrow and a 5″ screen is enough. Step up to E18C for a 7″ screen, two relays and 125 kHz cards. Order through Infront Technologies for Australian stock and setup advice.

Installation & safety notice
