    Uniarch IPC-D1E6-AF28K 6MP vandal-resistant dome camera
    Uniarch · 6MP · Vandal dome · IK10

    Within reach, hard to break.
    A 6MP dome rated IK10.

This is the Uniarch IPC-D1E6-AF28K. A 6MP dome camera in a metal body with an IK10 impact rating, so it stands up to a kick or a thrown object. The 2.8 mm lens covers 113° and infrared reaches 30 m in the dark.

    In one sentence: the IPC-D1E6-AF28K is a 6MP (3072 × 2048) vandal-resistant dome with a 2.8 mm F1.6 lens, 112.9° view, 30 m IR, a built-in mic, IK10 and IP67, powered by PoE.

    One camera, one Cat6 cable.

Video and power share a single Cat6 run from a PoE recorder or switch. Mounts and a memory card are optional.

    In the box
    • IPC-D1E6-AF28K camera
    • Fixing screws and drill template
    • Quick guide
    You also need
    • A PoE NVR or switch (802.3af), or a 12 V DC supply
    • Cat6 cable to the camera
    • A microSD card up to 256GB, to record on the camera
    • TR-JB03-G-IN junction box or TR-WM03-D-IN wall mount, if needed

Made for places people can reach.

Domes go where a turret or bullet could be grabbed or knocked: entries, stairwells, lifts and undercover car parks. At 3072 × 2048 and 112.9° across, one camera covers a whole entry or corridor, and IR keeps it watching to 30 m at night.

Uniarch IPC-D1E6-AF28K dome camera, angled view

    Design

    A low metal dome.

The body sits close to the ceiling with the lens behind a clear cover. Inside, the lens turns on three axes, so it can be aimed after the dome is fixed to a ceiling or a wall.

Uniarch IPC-D1E6-AF28K dome camera, side view of lens and cover

    Coverage

    113° across from a 2.8 mm lens.

Uniarch rates it to identify a person at 6.3 m and recognise someone known at 12.6 m, with detection out to 63 m. Corridor mode turns the picture to 9:16 for halls and walkways.

    How it goes in

    From the box to recording.

    01

    Pick the spot

High enough to be out of easy reach, close enough to see faces, with a route for one Cat6 cable. Under an eave keeps sun and rain off the lens.

    02

    Fix the dome

Screw it to the ceiling, onto a TR-JB03-G-IN junction box, or to a wall with the TR-WM03-D-IN mount.

    03

    Plug it in

Run Cat6 to a PoE port on the NVR or a PoE switch. The camera powers up from the cable.

    04

    Aim and add

Open the cover, aim the lens on its three-axis gimbal and refit the cover, then add it to the NVR or the Uniarch app.

    Pair it with

    What goes with it

    Recorder

    Uniarch PoE NVR

4, 8, 16 and 32-channel recorders that power the camera over one Cat6 cable and add it automatically.

    Mounting

    TR-JB03-G-IN junction box

Encloses the cable joint behind the camera on brick, render or a soffit with no cavity.

    Walls

    TR-WM03-D-IN wall mount

Holds the camera out from the wall so it can look along the building.

    Cabling

    Uniarch Cat6 cable

A 305 m box of solid copper Cat6 for PoE runs up to 100 m.

    Where it is used

    Where the vandal dome fits

    Entries and foyers

Faces at the door, mounted out of easy reach.

    Stairwells and lifts

Low ceilings where a camera can be hit.

    Undercover car parks

Wide view across the bays, IR for dim corners.

    Shops and counters

A discreet ceiling camera over the register.

Model codes shortened from IPC-…-AF28K. All five have a 2.8 mm F1.6 lens (112.9° across), 120 dB WDR, a built-in mic, microSD up to 256GB, IP67 and PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC. — means not rated. Figures from the Uniarch datasheets.

    Common questions

    What does IK10 mean?

IK10 is the top of the impact scale used for equipment housings (20 joules). The dome is built to survive being hit, kicked or struck with a tool, which is why it suits low ceilings and public areas.

Can I mount it on a wall?

Yes. It mounts on a ceiling, or on a wall with the TR-WM03-D-IN wall mount. Add the TR-JB03-G-IN junction box where there is no cavity behind to hide the cable joint.

How far does it see at night?

Up to 30 m with infrared. Smart IR turns the IR down on close objects so faces are not washed out white.

What resolution and frame rate does it record?

6MP (3072 × 2048) at up to 20 fps. If smoother motion matters more than detail, set 5MP at 25 fps or 3MP and 1080p at 30 fps.

Does it tell people from other movement?

Yes. Intrusion detection looks for the shape of a person, so swaying plants and passing headlights are less likely to send an alert. Motion, tampering and audio detection are built in as well.

    Does it record sound?

Yes, through the built-in microphone. It has no speaker; for talk-back and warnings, see the Uniarch Tri-guard models.

Will it work with my recorder?

Uniarch and Uniview NVRs find it on their PoE ports and add it automatically. Other recorders that support ONVIF Profile S, G or T can add it too, although the smart events may only come through on Uniarch and Uniview.

Can I watch it on my phone?

Yes. View it through your Uniarch NVR in the Uniarch app, or add the camera to the app on its own. Live view in a web browser works without a plug-in in current Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

Can it record without an NVR?

Yes. Fit a microSD card of up to 256GB and it records on the camera itself. With an NVR, the card also covers network drop-outs: ANR sends the missed footage to the recorder when the link returns.

    How is it powered?

By PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over the same Cat6 cable as the video, from a PoE NVR or switch. Without PoE, it runs on a 12 V DC supply. It draws 4.5 W at most.

    What is Ultra 265?

Uniarch’s video compression. It keeps the same picture as H.265 in less space, so the recorder holds more days of footage. H.265, H.264 and MJPEG are there too.

    What is the warranty?

Uniarch 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through us. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.

    Supported by Infront Technologies.

Not sure which camera suits each spot? Call 1300 736 970 or email [email protected] with a photo of the area and we will suggest the model and mount.

    Installation and safety

Power. PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 V DC ±25%, 4.5 W maximum. Use one or the other.

Weather. IP67 and IK10. Works from −30 °C to 60 °C. Seal the cable entry, or use the junction box where the joint would be exposed.
