Fix it up high

Screw the bracket to a wall, or to a pole with the TR-UP06-C-IN adapter, where it can see the whole area.

Plug it in

Run Cat6 to a PoE port on the NVR or a PoE switch, or use a 12 V DC supply.

Set presets

Pan, tilt and zoom to each spot you care about and save it. Link presets into a patrol.

Draw zones

Draw lines and zones, choose people, vehicles or both, and link the warning light and speaker.

What does the warning light and speaker do?

When a person or vehicle crosses a line or enters a zone you have drawn, the camera turns on its warning light and plays a warning through the speaker. You can also talk to the person live from the app. This is active deterrence: it tries to stop the problem rather than just record it.

How far can it zoom?

4× optical, from 2.8 mm (104° across) to 12 mm (30.6° across). Zoomed in, Uniarch rates it to identify a person at 27 m and recognise at 54 m.

Can it turn all the way around?

It pans 345°, so there is a small gap. Mount it with the gap facing the wall. Tilt runs from −10° to 110°.

How is it powered?

PoE over the Cat6 cable or a 12 V DC supply. Uniarch lists IEEE 802.3af PoE and a maximum draw of 18 W, so use a port that can supply 802.3at (30 W) for headroom. The PoE ports on the Uniarch NVR-104B-P4, NVR-108B-P8, NVR-216B-P16 and NVR-432XU-P16 all can.

Does it see at night?

Yes. Infrared reaches 50 m for black-and-white night video, and a warm light reaches 10 m to light up the area close to the camera. LightHunter keeps colour down to 0.003 lux.

Can it patrol on its own?

Yes. Save up to 256 presets and set up to 16 patrols of up to 64 presets each, and it will move between them on its own.

Can it go on a pole?

Yes, with the TR-UP06-C-IN pole adapter for poles 67–127 mm across.

Will it work with my recorder?

Uniarch and Uniview NVRs add it and give you pan, tilt and zoom control from the recorder. Other ONVIF (Profile S, G or T) recorders can add it too; smart events and PTZ control depend on that recorder.

Can I control it from my phone?

Yes. In the Uniarch app you can watch live, pan, tilt and zoom, jump to presets and play back recordings.

Can it record on its own?

Yes, to a microSD card of up to 256GB. With an NVR, ANR fills any gap from the card when a network drop-out ends.

What is Ultra 265?

Uniarch’s video compression. It keeps the same picture as H.265 in less space, so the recorder holds more days of footage.
