It sees them,
then it tells them.
This is the Uniarch IPC-T1P5-AF28KC. A white 5MP turret camera that does more than record. When a person or vehicle crosses into a zone you set, it switches on a warning light and plays a warning sound, so they know they are on camera.
In one sentence: the IPC-T1P5-AF28KC is a white 5MP (2880 × 1620) Tri-guard turret with a warning light, speaker and mic, person and vehicle filtering, a 2.8 mm F1.6 lens, 101.1° view, 30 m IR and IP67, powered by PoE.
One camera, one Cat6 cable.
Video and power share a single Cat6 run from a PoE recorder or switch. Mounts and a memory card are optional.
- IPC-T1P5-AF28KC camera
- Fixing screws and drill template
- Quick guide
- A PoE NVR or switch (802.3af), or a 12 V DC supply
- Cat6 cable to the camera
- A microSD card up to 256GB, to record on the camera
- TR-JB03-G-IN junction box or TR-WM03-D-IN wall mount, if needed
Stop it before it happens.
A normal camera tells you what went wrong. A Tri-guard camera tries to stop it: light and sound go off the moment someone steps over a line, and you can speak to them through the speaker. It records 5MP at a full 30 fps.

Design
Lens above, warning light below.
The eyeball holds the lens with the warning light just beneath it. It pans 360°, tilts 0–90° and rotates 360° in the metal base.

Sound
A speaker and a microphone built in.
Play the warning sound when a zone is breached, or talk back to whoever is there from the app. The mic picks up sound for recording.
How it goes in
From the box to recording.
01
Pick the spot
High enough to be out of easy reach, close enough to see faces, with a route for one Cat6 cable. Under an eave keeps sun and rain off the lens.
02
Fix the base
Screw the base to the wall or eave, or onto a TR-JB03-G-IN junction box so the cable joint is enclosed.
03
Plug it in
Run Cat6 to a PoE port on the NVR or a PoE switch. The camera powers up from the cable.
04
Aim and draw zones
Turn the eyeball to frame the view, add it to the NVR or app, then draw the lines and zones that should set off the light and sound.

Common questions
What does the warning light and speaker do?
When someone crosses a line or walks into a zone you have drawn, the camera switches on its warning light and plays a warning sound through its speaker. The person knows straight away they have been seen, which is often enough to make them leave before anything happens. This is what Uniarch calls active deterrence.
Will cats, trees or headlights set it off?
Much less often than plain motion detection. The camera sorts what it sees into people, cars and bikes, and filters out most false alarms from leaves, birds and changing light. You choose whether people, vehicles or both trigger the alarm.
Can I talk through it?
Yes. It has a microphone and a speaker with two-way audio, so you can listen in and speak to a visitor or an intruder from the app or the NVR.
Do I have to use the light and sound?
No. The light and sound only go off for the smart events you link them to. You can leave them off and use the camera for recording and alerts only.
What resolution and frame rate does it record?
5MP (2880 × 1620) at a full 30 fps, with 4MP, 3MP and 1080p options. Uniarch rates it to identify at 6.3 m and recognise at 12.6 m.
Is there a black or 4K version?
Yes. The IPC-T1P5-AF28KC-B is the same camera in black, and the IPC-T1P8-AF28KC is the 8MP 4K Tri-guard turret.
Will it work with my recorder?
Uniarch and Uniview NVRs find it on their PoE ports and add it automatically. Other recorders that support ONVIF Profile S, G or T can add it too, although the smart events may only come through on Uniarch and Uniview.
Can I watch it on my phone?
Yes. View it through your Uniarch NVR in the Uniarch app, or add the camera to the app on its own. Live view in a web browser works without a plug-in in current Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
Can it record without an NVR?
Yes. Fit a microSD card of up to 256GB and it records on the camera itself. With an NVR, the card also covers network drop-outs: ANR sends the missed footage to the recorder when the link returns.
How is it powered?
By PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over the same Cat6 cable as the video, from a PoE NVR or switch. Without PoE, it runs on a 12 V DC supply. It draws 7.5 W at most.
What is Ultra 265?
Uniarch’s video compression. It keeps the same picture as H.265 in less space, so the recorder holds more days of footage. H.265, H.264 and MJPEG are there too.
What is the warranty?
