The AK-E16-ONWALLH is the rain cover Akuvox makes for the E16C, and it suits the A05C in the same body. On an exposed entry it keeps water off the glass and stops overhead sun washing out the 5″ screen and the face-recognition cameras.

This SKU is the rain hood only.

You receive the black E16 / A05 on-wall rain hood with its screws and wall anchors. The E16C or A05C is sold separately.

Rain on the glass and direct overhead light are the two things that make an outdoor face-recognition door phone struggle. A hood deals with both.

Protect

Top and sides covered.

The hood wraps the top and sides of the device and leaves the front open for the screen, cameras and card reader.

It measures 208 × 94 × 50 mm, is black to match the E16C and A05C fronts, and is made for surface-mounted installs.

Fit

For E16C and A05C on the wall.

The E16C and A05C share a 192 × 88 mm body, and both surface-mount on the wall bracket supplied with them. The hood suits either.

It is not for flush installs — recessed E16C and A05C units use the E16 / A05 in-wall kit.

Which devices does it fit?

The Akuvox E16C door phone and A05C access terminal when they are surface-mounted.

Can I use it on a flush-mounted E16C?

No. It is the on-wall hood. Flush installs use the E16 / A05 in-wall kit.

Do I need a wall box?

No. It can screw to a standard 86 × 86 mm junction box with the two M4×30 screws, or straight to the wall with four M4×20 screws and anchors.

How big is it?

208 mm high, 94 mm wide and 50 mm deep at the top, in black.

What fixings are included?

Two M4×30 screws, four M4×20 screws and four plastic wall anchors.

Is the door phone included?

No. This SKU is the rain hood only.
