Mark and drill

Hold the box level and mark the four holes. Drill the cable hole behind the box.

Fix the arm

Pull the cable into the box and screw the back to the wall with four fixings.

Connect the camera

Run the camera’s lead along the arm and plug it in inside the box. Close the cover.

Fit and aim

Screw the camera’s base onto the ring at the end of the arm, then aim it.

Which cameras does it fit?

Uniview lists the V2 arm for its 32 series fixed domes, mini domes and plastic turrets, and the IPC314SB, IPC318SB, IPC328SS, IPC3608SB, IPC3618LE, IPC3624LE and IPC3628LE datasheets list it. From our black range: IPC326SS, IPC328SS, IPC3616LE, IPC3618LE, IPC3626LE and IPC3628LE.

Why a wall arm with a junction box?

It keeps the camera’s cable tail and plug in a covered box at the wall, so the joint is not exposed and you only need one cable hole behind the box.

How far does it hold the camera from the wall?

The arm is 231.4 mm long overall, so the camera sits clear of the wall and gutters.

Can the cable come along the wall?

Yes. As well as the rear outlet there are 3/4" NPS threaded entries on the side and underneath. Uniview’s TR-A01-IN is an NPT 3/4" waterproof gland for them; for 20 mm conduit use a matching thread adapter.

What screws do I need?

Four screws to suit the Ø5 mm holes on a 64 mm square, with masonry plugs for brick or concrete, or timber screws into a stud. Plasterboard alone is not strong enough. Uniview does not list fixings in the box.

How much weight will it hold?

Uniview does not publish a load rating. The arm levers the camera’s weight out from the wall, so fix it into solid material.

Does it suit both domes and turrets?

Yes. Uniview lists the V2 arm for its 32 series fixed domes, mini domes and plastic-bodied turrets, which share the same base pattern.

What is the difference from the TR-JB07/WM03-G-IN?

The V2 is the updated version, 0.88 kg instead of 1 kg, listed for a wider range of domes. This listing is the black finish.

What is it made of?

Aluminium alloy, 0.88 kg. It will not rust like steel.

Is it white or black?

Black. It is the black finish of the TR-JB07/WM03-G-IN-V2, made to match black Uniview cameras. Uniview only publishes photos of the white version, so the photos here show the white part; the shape and size are the same.

Do I need a licensed installer?

Fixing the bracket is a normal handyman job. In Australia, fixed data cabling inside walls and ceilings must be run by a registered cabler; plugging a camera into an existing outlet does not need one.

What is the warranty?

Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.
